Do you believe that data deletion is as straightforward as it is portrayed in our regulations? It is essential to establish clear guidelines for demonstrating data deletion and to define an acceptable timeframe for its completion. Furthermore, contracts between data fiduciaries and processors should clearly state retention periods and specify when data should be purged. And, considerations must be made if data retention is required under specific sectoral regulations.
