Valuable insights at Nasscom's "Women in Technology: The Code to Change" I had the pleasure of attending Nasscom's "Women in Technology: The Code to Change" event today at Nagarro Software, Gurugram . It was an inspiring day filled with insightful discussions and powerful stories. The event brought together a diverse group of women leaders, industry experts, and male allies to address the critical issues of gender diversity and inclusion in the tech sector. Here are some key takeaways from the event: Closing the Gender Gap: The opening panel discussion focused on strategies to close the gender gap in tech. The panelists, including industry leaders from Barclays, Nagarro, Capgemini BSv, and Natwest India, discussed the importance of mentorship, unconscious bias training, and creating inclusive work environments. Breaking Barriers: The "Breaking Barriers" session featured women pioneers sharing their inspiring journeys in tech. Their stories highlighted the resilience and determination required to succeed in a traditionally world. Empowering Change: The session on "Empowering Change" addressed the role of male allies in fostering a culture of equality. The panelists, including leaders from STMicroelectronics, Fiserv, and Teleperformance, emphasized the importance of open communication, sponsorship, and challenging the status quo. Women Leading Innovation: The afternoon session focused on women leading innovation in the tech industry. We heard from inspiring women across diverse tech fields like engineering, data science, and security. Their stories showcased the vast contributions women are making to the technological landscape. Navigating Career Growth: The session on "Navigating Career Growth" provided practical strategies for women in tech to advance their careers. The panelists, including CHROs and Directors from leading companies, offered valuable advice on mentorship, negotiation, and personal branding. Women in Tech Entrepreneurship: The closing session highlighted the growing influence of women leaders in the tech SME and startup revolution. Founders and CEOs of successful companies shared their experiences and insights on building and scaling businesses. Overall, "The Code to Change" was a powerful event that left me feeling motivated and inspired.
