Respect is reciprocal, if this statement is true then teachers & parents must learn to respect their kids & students as well. Often times, parents & teachers do not know the level at which their words get to these kids. Atimes, what you say provoke these kids to anger & it is not advisable to provoke children to anger. Atimes, parents & teachers use their words to impact negatively into the lives of these children. Beyond your usual rantings at home, choose subtle conversations. Learn to listen to your children and reduce the way you shout at them when having a conversation. Do not raise your kids the exact way you were raised. Each child is unique! #parenting #RespectAllFearNone #Impact #education #consultancy #counseling #Teaching #viralchallenge

"I have previously written an article on the importance of parental involvement in a child’s education. However, in the current climate, where many students are learning from home, I feel it is vital to reiterate the significance of parents taking an active role in their child’s education. It is not enough to rely solely on teachers to provide education; parents must also be involved. There are many ways for parents to get involved, including attending parent-teacher conferences, volunteering at school, helping with homework, and having regular communication with teachers. By working together, parents and teachers can create successful partnerships that contribute to a child’s academic and social development." #ParentalInvolvement #AcademicSuccess #ParentTeacherPartnerships #VolunteerAtSchool #HomeworkHelp #RegularCommunication #ChildDevelopment #EducationStrategies #FamilyEngagement #SchoolSuccess #SupportiveParents #StudentGrowth #PositiveSchoolEnvironment #TeacherCollaboration #MexitNews

National Mentoring Month is a great time to start talking with children about tough issues they may be facing, like Childhood Domestic Violence (CDV). 🌟 But these subjects are tough to navigate because they can stir many negative emotions. Plus most children learn early on to keep silent about what happens at home. Although it's tough to overcome the code of silence, stigma, and shame, it is so necessary. According to research, the most effective way for them to overcome the impacft is to talk about it. Plus helps them realize they're not alone. Zoey is one of the children in our Emmy-nominated Nichelodeon children's segment, "Family Secrets" who discovers this. Download the segment FREE at https://lnkd.in/em-d9Ax9 and watch it together with impacted children or host a screening, to help you broach the subject in an age-appropriate way. 📺🧡 Start a conversation today that can help them heal and thrive! Paired with a Discussion Guide, it's an invaluable asset for hosting screenings and facilitating post-discussion sessions. 🗣️ Join the movement to break the cycle of violence. Whether you're an educator, mentor, or professional, download the FREE Discussion Guide and share this impactful content. 🤝 Let's create a supportive community for meaningful conversations and positive change.
