Risk-based agreements in the pediatric space are not perfect.   They need a lot of work to ensure that we are truly compensating pediatricians for the value they deliver.   But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't pursue risk-based contracts, collaborate to make them better, and advocate for them to strengthen how pediatrics is delivered in this country.   I struggle when I'm in conversations where people say it can't (or won't) work because it isn't fully solutioned or figured out.   Let's work together to figure it out.   I believe it is 100% possible and can potentially be a lifeline for the independent pediatricians that are working to serve their communities. #pediatrics #riskbased #mcos #pediatricvalue #caredeliveryinpeds
