Safety Tip: Keep Away from Cars! 🚗 As the weather warms up, kids love to play outdoors! But it's crucial to teach them about the dangers of cars, even when they're parked. Here's why: 🔍 Stay Visible: Remind children not to hide in or around cars, as drivers may not see them. 🏠 Avoid Driveways: Playing at the ends of driveways can be risky. Encourage kids to stay away from areas where cars may drive. 🚘 Stay Clear: Whether parked or unlocked, cars can be dangerous places to play. Teach kids to steer clear to avoid accidents. Let's empower our little ones to play safely outside this summer! 🌞 #SafetyFirst #OutdoorPlay #ChildSafety 🌳

W.A.T.C.H Out! The popularity of electric bikes and motorized/electric scooters (e-scooters and e-bikes), available to rent on many city blocks, has soared recently, leading to an increase in injuries. While these vehicles are widely used, they are not suitable for children due to significant safety risks. Children and teenagers often lack the experience and judgement to operate these vehicles safely, which increases the risk of accidents, especially in busy urban areas. Additionally, their unfamiliarity with traffic laws and irregular use of helmet and protective gear further heightens the risk of serious injuries. Remember, e-scooters and e-bikes are not toys and children should not operate or ride on them. However, if your teenager is old enough to be riding an electric vehicle and is allowed to do so, educate them about safe riding practices, including the importance of wearing helmets and other protective gear, obeying traffic laws, and riding defensively to avoid accidents and collisions .For more information about toy safety, go to www.toysafety.org.

Well, it’s back to school week for many of us. When the kids are getting older it could be that they’re not too keen to use their car seats. Maybe they think they’re too big or grown up? Or it could be that it’s a short journey and being closer to home often feels safer. With 1 in 3 accidents happening within a mile of home (What Car?) it’s not worth the risk. Please use their seats for as long as possible. Make every trip a safe trip. #roadsafety #parenting

I’ve promised to #TakeABackSeat with CARS24 making sure every car has a child seat. Join me: As parents, guardians, or anyone who cares for young children, ensuring their safety on the road is non-negotiable. While seat belts are essential for adults, children need specialized protection—this is where child car seats come in. Why a Child Seat? Standard seat belts aren’t designed for the size and physiology of a child. A properly fitted child seat can reduce the risk of injury by up to 70% in an accident, making it one of the simplest yet most effective ways to protect your loved ones. What to Consider When Choosing a Child Seat: • Ensure it fits your child’s height and weight. • Verify it complies with safety standards. • Install it correctly; a poorly installed seat can be as dangerous as not using one at all. A Safe Ride for All: Let’s make it a priority to use the right car seat for every journey, no matter how short. Your child’s safety is worth the few extra minutes it takes to buckle them up securely. For more insights and safety tips, watch this video: https://lnkd.in/gXRSF6MW or check it out on YouTube: https://lnkd.in/gpVXkahV Spread the word, share your tips, and let’s create a safer road environment for everyone! 🌍✨ #ChildSafety #CarSeats #ParentingTips #RoadSafety #Insightful

🚨 Safety First: Protect Yourself and Your Loved Ones on Two Wheels 🚨 Riding a two-wheeler is an enjoyable experience, but safety should always come first. Whether you're the rider, a pillion passenger, or a parent riding with your child, wearing a helmet is *non-negotiable*. 💡 Why wearing a helmet is crucial for all: 1. For Riders: A helmet can drastically reduce the risk of severe head injuries in case of an accident. It acts as a protective shield, absorbing impact and keeping you safe on the road. 2. For Pillion Riders: Even if you're just riding as a passenger, you're still at risk. Helmets for pillion riders are just as important to prevent injuries in case of an unforeseen incident. 3. For Kids: Kids have more fragile skulls, and their smaller size means they are more vulnerable in case of an accident. A well-fitted helmet is essential for their safety, whether they are in the front or back seat. Let’s make helmets a part of our daily riding routine, not just an optional accessory. It’s a small habit that can save lives and make the ride more enjoyable for everyone! 👏 Remember: Safety first, fun second. Always #RideSafe and #WearAHelmet! #TwoWheelerSafety #HelmetSafety #RoadSafety #FamilySafety #StayProtected #BeepKart #twowheeler
