On the second day of my entrepreneurial journey, the vision for my venture has never been clearer. Striving to hit that ambitious first 100k mark online, I’ve set my sights high, informed by my passions from kickboxing to hip hop, and inspired by idols like Tim Ferriss and Tai Lopez. The road ahead is undoubtedly filled with challenges, but my dedication to see this through is unwavering. This journey blends discipline, creativity, and strategic thinking, mirroring the very essence of planning a complex audiovisual project. Here’s to turning visions into reality, one calculated step at a time. #EntrepreneurialJourney #VisionToVictory #Day2

Why Did I Call it CHANCE? On my walk this morning, I was listening to a new podcast by Ben Branson, The Hidden 20% (highly recommended, by the way). It occurred to me that after nearly 10 years in the non-alc space, I never knew why Seedlip Drinks was called Seedlip. I’ll let you Google it—it’s pretty cool and now makes sense knowing Ben a bit!! It also made me realise that I’ve never shared why CHANCE Clean Cider is called CHANCE, and I get asked that a lot! The name CHANCE came from three key areas: brand marketing, customer marketing, and a bit of personal founder-driven inspiration. From a BRAND perspective, CHANCE instantly gave me tons of inspiration for content. Whether it’s playing on games of chance, taking a chance, or the butterfly effect that a chance can create, it just felt rich with creative potential. Plus, it’s a great word to say—go on, say it out loud… CHANCE. Fun, right? From a CUSTOMER marketing point of view (which is how I see most things), I wanted something that could be a natural “bar call.” "I'll take a pint of CHANCE" felt like something you could comfortably say in a pub, right? But the deeper meaning came later. It became about the “FOUNDER'S CHANCE.” We all know someone who had a great idea, who said they were going to take the leap, but... never quite did. For me, CHANCE represents making that leap—taking my chance. And so far, I haven't looked back! So, what's the story behind the name of your brand? Or if you don't have one yet, what would you call your million-pound idea? (Oh, and just to clarify, ABBA had no influence on the name—despite the catchy song... for copyright reasons, of course!) #chancecider #lowandno #lowandnocider #drinksindustry #nonalc #npd #ontrade #founder #investment #startup #insight #consumer #customer #npdlaunch #culture #tradeevent #tradeshow #clubsoda #non&lowshow #support #weeklyreview #grateful #celebendorsement #celeb #seedlip #Hidden20% #whythename #takeyourchance

DEEP and Makestartups.com keep exploring the US startups scene! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Their next stop took them to Reno, NV, where they delved into the thriving startup scene. They kicked things off with Doug Erwin from Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) exploring how Reno skyrocketed venture capital investments from $20m to over $1bn annually. Their visit to the University of Nevada, Reno Innovation Center was equally enlightening, as they engaged in a roundtable with community stakeholders and the Nevada Office of Entrepreneurship. In this episode, they uncovered invaluable insights, including: - The pivotal role of culture in fostering a vibrant startup community. - Transitioning from an 'Operator' to a 'Catalyst' in ecosystem development. - Early alignment of values for long-term success. - Strategies for sourcing and engaging mentors. - Leveraging industrial giants like Tesla to accelerate ecosystem growth. - The importance of letting go of old programs and adapting to changing landscapes.
