An honest LI post from someone who actually knows what they are talking about! I’m in the process of publishing a series of posts which demonstrate real life existing installations to remind the protagonists and zealots from all camps (including my own) the realities of our industry when they make spurious generic claims and/or assumptions which (and this is my beef) can easily mislead others if believed and heaven forbid then applied in the field. Having read the comments and comment responses to some of my posts then all I can say is that I do hope that the protagonists and zealots have robust Professional Indemnity insurance policies in place! Cue zealots! Let’s get it straight, in terms of Consumer Rights Act tests, a correctly designed and installed heating system will do what the designer intended it to, and the end user and the courts expect it to, irrespective of whether the emitters were sized at 82C, 70C, 55C, 45C, 35C, etc. as long as that design sizing temperature matches the optimum appliance flow temp at the design point external temperature. What doesn’t perform as intended is a mismatch between the appliance flow temp and the flow temperature that the heat emitters were sized to at design external temperature. We’ve had this issue of underperforming systems at the coldest times of year back when standard efficiency boilers (82C flow) were replaced with “high efficiency” condensing boilers (70C flow). Cue zealots! Why would a householder actually replace their existing heating system to simply replace one energy source with another potentially higher cost energy source? Not everyone can afford or even contemplate affording their own personal carbon reduction aspirations, should they have them, but when capital needs spending on a distress purchase the opportunity is there to reduce future running costs (in business terms - overheads) via energy consumption reduction which also reduces emissions but via freedom of their own affordability choice. Cue zealots! We know the basics, you only need the max energy output at design conditions and when it’s warmer outside than the external design temp then a “smaller” lower output “boiler” and radiators would be appropriate. Where automatic output reduction has not been achievable historically then on/off room thermostats and TRV’s played their part but they don’t stop a boiler unesceserily firing at 25kW when only 10kW is needed. Irrespective of fuel source or type, appliance output modulation and control of flow temperatures can achieve this but this requires control systems which match output flow temps to the actual temperature differential between inside and out (weather compensated) to match heat emitter output to heat demand such as via OpenTherm protocol. Cue zealots! Every household circumstance is different as every domestic heating engineer knows, that’s why engineers need best available technology choices to provide customers with cost effective solutions. Cue zealots!
I think I have had too much time off this Christmas and New Year

This quote may appear straightforward, but its implications are profound. When examining leaders, particularly those of religious backgrounds, one cannot help but notice a stark contrast from the ordinary individual. Their manner of speech, their composed demeanor, and the fervor with which they deliver their message suggest an influence beyond the tangible. These are the individuals who command attention—not because of any material reward or compensation but because of the unwavering conviction that propels them forward. Confidence, I argue, is a skill essential for everyone to cultivate. It entails striking a delicate balance between steadfast belief in one's convictions and the humility to acknowledge multiple perspectives on any given issue. It involves introspection, drawing upon personal knowledge, experiences, and information to form independent opinions, impervious to external influence. When others perceive this confidence in you, the dichotomy of being right or wrong becomes inconsequential. What truly matters is that your voice is heard—an indispensable step toward achieving your objectives. So, whether engaging in conversation or delivering a presentation, remember this: "You better walk into that room like God sent you in there" #confidence #continiousimprovement #supplychain #believe #success.

I see many people held back by getting in their heads and ways. Life is going to go by fast. Over time, people in your will come and go. There will be people who won't be happy for you, but plenty will want to see you happy. Live an abundant life for HIM, for you, your family, and future generations.

HOW FAR HAVE YOU GONE IN THE NEW YEAR? The celebration season is over, and the journey into the new year (new life) has begun. Many goals were set at the beginning of the new year; however, how far have you gone having travelled some weeks into the new year? At the end of March and June, the First and Second Quarter Assessment Reports will be presented, will you have something significant to show for it? As your partner in progress, I need to remind you that the celebration time is over, the journey and tasks for the year have commenced. Throw away the garment of the Christmas and New Year jamboree, and put on your duty clothes. Put away the wine of celebration, and lubricate your machine with oil; the time to work has begun. As we advance in the journey of 2025, may I ask you HOW FAR HAVE YOU GONE in the pursuit and realization of your goals for the year? https://lnkd.in/dwGRtZT3

2024 marked a monumental leap forward for biologit. biologit MLM-AI, and the newly launched biologit Database solidified their positions as industry leaders. Exceeding the milestone of 100 enterprise licenses was not just a testament to our technological excellence but also a validation of the trust and value our partners place in our solutions. This year wasn’t only about numbers but also about innovation. The product enhancements and the launch of the database for local literature opened new possibilities for active safety surveillance, addressing the needs of enterprises globally. Each new client brought fresh challenges and opportunities, pushing us to refine our technology and expand our impact. My Year in Numbers: Personally, I thought I’d taken a quieter approach to travel this year—only to discover I’d boarded 38 flights! Living on an island, my only other choice is by boat 🚣♀️ 😅. On the ground, I represented biologit at 16 events—as a speaker, panelist, and networker. Each event was a platform to share biologit's vision, strengthen partnerships, and absorb insights from a dynamic industry. The demands of this visibility extended beyond logistics to wardrobe upgrades: my conference suits saw a stylish evolution from Massimo Dutti to Max Mara Fashion Group (thank goodness for that 50% discount!). Looking Ahead to 2025: The horizon looks even brighter for 2025. If projections hold, biologit will surpass 1,000 enterprise licenses. This isn’t just growth; it’s transformation and scale! The next year promises to amplify everything we’ve worked for—more innovation, more partnerships, and even more travel (time to strategise a more sustainable wardrobe plan).
We wish a happy new year to all!!!
