Have you seen this quote "Be yourself so the people looking for you can find you"? I have quite a bit recently however no one gave credit to the author of it. So I looked it up and found out about Arlan Hamilton, who is a trailblazing entrepreneur and a champion for underdogs. 🚀 Her inspiring journey from homelessness to becoming a successful investor is a testament to her resilience and determination. 🚀 This quote made in 2021 encapsulates her belief in authenticity and the power of embracing one's unique identity. ⭐ I know I’ve always been myself and I can’t be bothered trying to be anything else for anyone. 😊 If I have to pretend to be something I’m not to please someone or get something, it’s not worth it. At the end of the day, I have to be honest with myself and respect who I am. ⭐ Who is with me on this? Live Your Life Now! Have a GO! #PauletteSteele #RealWorkLifeBalance #Liveyourlifenow #BeYourself #PositiveMindset

_Resilience and Determination: The Story of a Black Caribbean Widow_ As I reflect on my journey, I am reminded of the strength and resilience that lies within me. I am a Black Caribbean widow, who has faced unimaginable challenges, yet continues to rise above them. After losing my husband, I was left to raise our three young children alone. The grief was overwhelming, but I knew I had to push through for their sake. I worked tirelessly, often holding down multiple jobs to provide for my family. Despite the obstacles, I refused to give up. I drew strength from my Caribbean heritage and the lessons my parents taught me - hard work, determination, and the importance of community. I began to pursue my passion for entrepreneurship, starting a small business that has grown into a successful venture. Through my journey, I have learned the value of: - Resilience: Bouncing back from adversity with grace and determination. - Community: Surrounding myself with people who uplift and support me. - Hard work: Putting in the effort required to achieve my goals. Today, I am proud of the woman I have become and the example I set for my children. I am a testament to the power of resilience and determination. Let my story inspire you to push through your own challenges and rise above them. #Resilience #Determination #BlackCaribbeanWidow #Entrepreneurship #Community #HardWork #Inspiration #WomenEmpowerment I am open for business

From making ends meet to a successful entrepreneur is the remarkable story of Matt Kratiuk👊 I had the pleasure of meeting Matt at a tennis function where I was selling raffle tickets for the Children's Hospital Foundation after a last minute call up from Nadine Moore. After chatting to him for a bit he told me about his story, asked about my future then suggested we catch up for a coffee. Blown away by his kindness and uplifting energy the minute I arrived home I started reading about his incredible story. 🏆👏 Not only was it my first coffee with him but it marks the beginning of a new series I’ve started on LinkedIn called #HustlewithHenry. I will be interviewing successful people with just 4 questions. I thought there was no better way to kick the series off with the motivating and powerful story of Matt Kratiuk. 🐐 * What’s your secret skill (power)? Building a strong and respected network of leaders and bringing great people together. * What are you most proud of? Building the greatest @Vinnies CEO Sleepout team in Australian history and raising more money than any team since it began. By doing this, we have provided St Vincent de Paul Society with enough equity to build 6 homes for Australians experiencing homeless. As someone that was homeless and living in a park just over a decade ago, it brings me great joy to be able to give back to those that need it most. * What advice would you have for me as a school leaver and aspiring entrepreneur? These three principles will transform your life. 1.) Discipline is key - Do the things that are uncomfortable until it becomes uncomfortable not to do them. 2.) Your network is your net worth - Spend time and resources on building your network by adding value to others. There is nothing that will impact your career more than a great network. 3.) Create a daily process that works for you and that you fall in love with. If you do this, growth will seem easy. * Out of all of the things you've done what's one thing you have loved doing the most? Falling in love with my Fiancé and building a life together. Loving her has been the greatest honour of my life. #HustlewithHenry #buildingconnections #letthejourneybegin

Marketplace Ministry: Transforming Your Business into a Platform for God's Work 🙌💼 As Christian women entrepreneurs, we can use our businesses as vehicles for God's love and truth. Let's explore how to view our ventures as ministry opportunities: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." - Colossians 3:23 (NIV) "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." - Matthew 5:16 (NIV) Key principles for business-as-ministry: 1️⃣ Recognize your business as a calling: Your venture is a mission field. 2️⃣ Serve with excellence: Give your best as an act of service to God. 3️⃣ Cultivate a Kingdom culture: Create a work environment reflecting Christian values. 4️⃣ See every interaction as a ministry opportunity. 5️⃣ Use your influence for good in your community. Practical steps: ➡️ Begin team meetings with prayer or a brief devotional. ➡️ Incorporate social responsibility into your business model. ➡️ Develop a mentoring program sharing business skills and faith-based wisdom. ➡️ Be open about your faith journey when appropriate. ➡️ Pray for clients, employees, or business partners. Remember, ministry isn't always overt evangelism. It's about conducting business with such integrity and compassion that others become curious about your values' source. As Christian entrepreneurs, we're "tent-makers" like Paul, using our trade as a ministry platform. Your product might meet practical needs, but your conduct can meet spiritual and emotional needs. Reflection question: How are you using your business as a ministry? How could you expand this for greater Kingdom impact? Share your ideas below. Your approach could inspire others to see their businesses in a new light! #BusinessAsMinistry #FaithAtWork #KingdomEntrepreneur #SheStepsForwardCoaching

My entire perspective had to change. I realized that to see true blessing, I needed to align myself with God’s covenant—not just for me, but for the city and the people around me. My household wasn’t just strengthened for our sake, but so we could be a channel of provision to others. As I leaned into this, everything shifted—especially in my real estate business. I wasn’t just doing deals anymore; I was teaching others how to walk in abundance. People were renovating homes, flipping land, and creating real-life business solutions. Lives were being transformed. And as I poured into them, my own abundance multiplied beyond anything I could have achieved on my own. This is the power of the Kingdom! Blessing others leads to multiplication far greater than what I could’ve imagined. #MindsetMatters #RealEstateJourney #Stewardship #KingdomMindset #FaithfulServant #KingdomEntrepreneur #GodlyWisdom #FinancialFreedom #ChristianBusiness #DivineStrategy #BiblicalPrinciples #BusinessMentorship #EntrepreneurLife #FaithAndFinance #KingdomWealth #CommunityOfBelievers #Growth #GoshenMembership #ChristianEntrepreneurs #BusinessGrowth

What’s the most valuable legacy to leave? On the 27th anniversary of my mom’s passing, revisiting this clip, the answer is clear... Losing her at 10, I met the true measure of my mother through those whose lives she touched. Though not financially rich, she instilled in me the meaning of what it looks like to advance God’s kingdom—to sustain and multiply blessings so more can be helped. Yes, as founders, we can create profitable enterprises. Yet true success means aligning with God’s kingdom first. A business lacks significance if built without His principles at its core, no matter the assets left behind. This is why I’m passionate about helping faith driven business owners see their identity beyond what they do. My mom showed me that people matter more than wealth alone. Walking through the freezing cold of New York to serve others, she built eternal riches by living out her purpose. That selfless example - not wealth - was the greatest gift to me. As Kingdom entrepreneurs and leaders, we have a responsibility to leave legacies of spiritual value first. What’s one lesson you learned from someone close to you that still impacts how you do business today? #kingdombusiness #legacybuilding #angelicaprather #faithinbusiness
