Most Americans think it's a parent's responsibility to teach their kids about money, yet many avoid discussing their wealth with their children. Despite years spent accumulating wealth and planning to pass it on, many parents don’t prepare their adult children to manage their inheritance. As a result, 70% of families lose their wealth by the next generation, and 90% by the one after. Research shows that open conversations about money can help preserve wealth, but this remains a taboo topic for many. There’s a way to speak with your adult children about money to set them up for financial success—and it might not be what you expect. #WealthManagement #GenerationalWealth

Do you see money differently to your parents and grandparents? 🤔 I meet people with lots of differing views about money The main differences are normally generational 👵🧓👨🦱👩🧒👧 The older generation don't tend to like talking about money with their children (In this case the children are in their late 50's onwards, and the parents in their late 70's onwards) Whereas younger generations are much more open with their children about their affairs They openly want their children to know what's what and where their money and assets are held Have you noticed this in your family dynamics? #Money #FinancialPlanning #MollamWealthManagement
