Dr. Steven Lesk has been a practicing, board-certified psychiatrist since 1984, treating thousands of adult patients while researching, writing articles and mentoring students. He served as chairman of psychiatry at a large VA hospital in New York and assistant professor at the affiliated medical school. When someone communicates a lot, inevitably some fail happens. My interview for the VU podcast gained international visibility, and was requested by one portal to be adapted and republished. The VU communication department gave the permission with the condition that the adapted text had to be approved by the department and the author (me). However, we never heard from the journalist again, he did not share the final text and went dead silent for any of further messages from our side. Yet, the interview was published under a paywall. While I can see my name and picture there, I am not aware what is written in the text around, and I do not feel like paying to get access to read my own interview 😂 If someone of you have the access by any chance, it would be nice if you could share a copy with me. But please don't pay for it as it was published under unfair conduct. The moral: when you spread the word, at some point it starts living its own life 🚣♀️
