As part of our GAAD celebrations, our Senior Accessibility Designer ran an internal expo at our offices in Oxford 🕹️ Giving a bit more insight into some of the barriers gamers with disabilities face 💡 Special thanks to RNIB, SpecialEffect & Abertay University for joining us 👏 When we design with accessibility in mind, we all win ✅

  • Two people sit at a desk, one of them is blindfolded with a headset on and their hands on a mouse and keyboard while they use audio cues to play the video game. The other person watches them play.
  • Two people sit at a desk, while one of the people explains something to the other while gesturing. On the desk is a gaming laptop, monitor and various adaptive and accessibility controls for video games which they are about to use.
  • Two people sit at a desk, the main person in the shot has their hands on accessibility controllers which they use to play Sniper Elite 5 on the screen Infront of them, the second person next to them watches their gameplay on the monitor.
  • A person sits at a desk with a headset on and Xbox controller in hand while they play a game on the screen and laptop in front of them. Another person stands next to them while explaining and gesturing to the other.
