This past weekend, the Seattle office teamed up with Rebuilding Together Seattle to rehabilitate a group home for developmentally challenged adults as part of National Rebuilding Day. Volunteers from Wilson Sonsini assisted with general yard clean-up, including removing ivy from a fence; cutting back vegetation that was interfering with a wheelchair ramp into the back yard; preparing garden beds and planting various new flowers and perennials; creating a patio area with rock and pavers; and stripping paint in preparation for painting. Team Wilson Sonsini included Andrew Bryant, Marcus Campbell, Sonja Gerrard, Wendy Gonzalez, Nicole M., Rachelle Montague, Erika Ricci, and Selena Whitaker-Paquiet, along with family and friends. Rebuilding Together’s National Rebuilding Day takes place annually on the last Saturday of April and is a nationwide volunteer event through which companies and individuals rehabilitate homes and community facilities for low-income, elderly, and/or disabled individuals.
