Hello everyone! Today we want to share a significant milestone with you - it's been exactly 2 years since our company began its journey! Two years! It sounds substantial, but for a new studio undertaking a huge project, it's just the beginning. Let's look at what we've achieved in this time: 🙏 Our team, our most valuable asset. We've grown from 15 to 21 in-house members since last year! 🌍 We're living up to the name Made on Earth Games. Currently, we're a vibrant blend of people from 11 different countries! (and soon we will expand our geography)! Diverse cultures, different languages, but one shared goal – to create something amazing. As Earthlings 🤟🏾 Investor support. We've welcomed GEM Capital, Raga Partners, and Heracles by Eric Seufert to join The Games Fund! We're incredibly proud of our investor lineup! ⚗ Launched and tested a prototype with real players! We're thrilled with the launch results, both in terms of metrics and feedback. Still, we see room for even greater improvements! 📝 Streamlined all processes. Now, even though we're a startup, our chaos is creative and organized! ✨ Adhering to our original principles and culture - avoiding clones, standing out, allowing team members to realize their potential, and maintaining openness. We'd like to end this looooong post with a wish for growth - for us, for you, for everyone! :) This year, we've added a critical element to our culture: the culture of development, both for the company and our team. That's our wish for ourselves. And with it, success will follow! Happy Birthday, Made on Earth Games! 🚀 #happybirthday #team #company #milestone #culture #everbright #gamedevelopment #4x #strategy #game #vc #growth

It's a bit of a sentimental post. Over two years ago, Alexey Ilin and I met up for lunch, and he threw out this idea: "How about we start something on our own?" Exactly two years back, we kicked things off. Feels like a long time, yet also not enough, especially for developing a big multiplayer 4X game packed with innovations. "Will we make it?" I've been asking myself this for the last two years. Right now, I'm leaning towards "yes, we will!" But sure, there are moments of doubt when I wander around thinking, "Can we really pull this off?" Then, I open Asana and Notion, fire up the mobile or web build, and the doubt fades away. We're now a 21-person strong team. Many are hitting their two-year mark at the company. We've found our formula over the last year: the company grows, and we grow with it and our product. No other way around it. We're spread across 11 countries, bringing diverse cultures that help us create something genuinely creative. And while we keep an eye on the reports, it's clear that our data-driven approach is steering us in the right direction. How many wrong decisions in these two years? Probably a bunch. Some things could've been faster, some foresight here and there, but considering all the chaos, I'm glad we're handling it. And I've got to say, for the hundredth or thousandth time, we're super lucky with our investors. They trust us, ask the right questions, and help structure our 'not-like-everyone-else' strategy. Plus, they're supportive. Does the expectation match the reality of "let's create a studio and develop our game"? In some ways, not at all. In others, it exceeds our wildest dreams and keeps inspiring us to move forward. Looking back, was it the right decision? Absolutely, yes! Happy Birthday, Made on Earth Games! Here's to a long and successful journey! #happybirthday #team #company #milestone #culture #everbright #gamedevelopment #4x #strategy #game #vc #growth

Tech evolution continues to amaze me every day. Recently, I found myself celebrating Reworks' success in a classic tuxedo. Do you think this style suits me, or should I stick with the hoodies? It's been an incredible journey since the Reworks - Playtika deal/exit nearly 3 years ago, delivering astonishing returns for all involved. Big Bets and Play Ventures were the pioneering investors in Reworks back in December 2018. From that initial investment to the exit in September 2021, Big Bets stood by, participating in all 4 funding events and contributing over +€2.4M, marking my largest investment to date. 💼💰 #BigBets #PlayVentures #Reworks #CelebratingSuccess

Empowering Seattle businesses. Advocate for Pioneer Square’s revitalization. Offering premier private offices, coworking & event spaces. Let's grow together! #PioneerSquareRevival #DowntownSeattleActivation
Today hit a little different. It’s mid-October, and I’m feeling that familiar shift in the air. The kind that makes you pause and reflect on where you’re at, and what you’ve still got left to do. Walking through Pioneer Square, it’s clear that the grind never stops—whether it’s startups pushing boundaries or creatives making their mark. But in the middle of all that, it’s easy to forget that progress doesn’t always come fast. Sometimes it’s about just showing up, doing the work, and trusting the process. Life’s wild like that. We set goals at the start of the year, but by this point, it’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind or that the big wins haven’t hit yet. But here’s the thing: it’s not about perfection or hitting every milestone exactly on time. It’s about the little steps, the moments when you show up for yourself, even on the days when motivation feels low. Today I reminded myself—and maybe you need this reminder too—that consistency beats everything. Even when you’re not feeling 100%, those small moves still count. Whether you’re chasing that next sale, working on a passion project, or just trying to stay grounded, don’t underestimate the power of steady effort. If today wasn’t perfect, that’s cool. Keep pushing. We’ve got more time, more moves to make, and more chances to grow. Stay up. #MidweekMotivation #ProgressNotPerfection #KeepShowingUp #Seattle #PioneerSquare

The news about our youngest venture Connected Crafts just keeps coming! Fresh from the press! Our Connected Crafts team just launched the next gen version of their product and already managed to get 1000 talents on the plattform in a very short period of time. Isn´t that amazing? ✨ Introducing a fresh iteration of a software product is moreless routine for a software venture, but there are those big releases which mean something in specific! 💪 Happy to see the progress of this venture and in specific to see the #GRID of the CO-Founders Maximilian Gick and Dimitri Gertsmann working extremly hard to get this version up and running! Especially Dimi in his role as #CTO probably had sleepless nights. It's no surprise both look very concentrated and focused in our snapshot, taken just before the release! Real founder talks, no stock! 😂 The team set the target to achieve > 2000 talents until end of the week. Let´s keep the ✊ crossed. #productrelease #venturebuilding #investorsearch #founders #grid #nostock #realfounderslife #craftsmen

You need 15-18% market penetration before the market ‘accepts’ an idea. 📈 Innovators (2.5%) → Comfortable with gut decisions + decisions based on values. 📈 Early adopters (13.5%) → Comfortable with gut decisions + decisions based on values. 📈 Early majority (34%) → Comfortable with investing if someone’s tried it first. 📈 Late majority (34%) → Invest when it’s readily available on the market, and 📈 Laggards (16%) → Invest at the latest possible opportunity. Your brand and visual identity play an important role in attracting innovators and early adopters. They need to know you look credible and trustworthy to justify their investment. You need to nail those initial communications. When your brand is loveable, viable, and believable from the outset, you’ll stand a stronger chance of acquiring those early adopters and achieving your vision of market success. Loveable, viable, and believable brands are what Brewd does best. You’re told: Build, launch, iterate. Repeat. You do: Build, calculate at least 10 different configurations to see which might be best, randomly pick one because calculations only take you so far, test the one you picked, iterate, retest. Repeat. Lots of late night R&D happening at Nuwatts Global Headquarters. Looking forward to sharing updates. #founderlife #startuplife
