What are the best and worst days of a week to apply for a Job? Studies show that Tuesday is the day most people apply to jobs, but is it the best day? Although many sites claim that Tuesday is the best time to apply, recent studies have denied that fact. According to LAsalesrecruiter.com, Tuesday has the most application traffic, where almost 37% of job seekers applying that day. However, it is not the most fruitful day, with barely a 20% success rate. So, What day is the best? A successful day is the one that will help you go through with the application process (the interview step). Accordingly, the most successful day is Monday. Though most people hate that day, it is actually the most productive day of the week. HR managers are freshly ready to view their huge pile of CVs and start off their work right. As the days go on, resumes can pile up and yours might get lost among many others on a recruiter’s portfolio. Applying on Monday gives you a 10% higher chance of landing an interview. LAsalesrecruiter.com ‘s study showed that 30% of candidates who applied on Monday had a prosperous hiring process. Almost one out of three people were actually successful in moving forward. Therefore, next time you’re planning to apply, make sure to boost your effort on Monday, and have your CV ready and updated. But, What is the worst day? It is Saturday. Only 5% of people choose to apply to jobs on Saturdays. Studies show that candidates have a 14% success rate on that day, hence it is not preferable. Tip: It is advised to apply early in the morning (before noon) to get a higher chance of getting your resume noticed by HR Managers. Submit resume and salary request to info@skilledtradestaffing.com. REClifts Specialise in recruiting all skills in the Lift & Escalator Industry Temporary & Permanent Staffing Solutions REClifts Levelling Up The Lift Industry 5.0 Gold Stars on Google
🛠️ As a Lift Engineer ready to take your career to the next level, your CV is your passport to new opportunities. With over a decade of experience in the lift industry, I've seen what makes a CV stand out. Here are my top 5 tips to elevate your CV and how to obtain your NVQ level 4 qualification: 1️⃣ **Tailor Your Experience**: Just like a well-fitted suit, your CV should be tailored to the role you're applying for. Highlight specific projects and responsibilities that align with the job description. Show how your hands-on experience with lift systems makes you the ideal candidate for that next big step. 2️⃣ **Certifications Front and Center**: If you've got it, flaunt it! Place your qualifications, especially your NVQ Level 3, at the forefront of your CV. This immediately tells potential employers that you've got the technical chops for the job. 3️⃣ **Lifelong Learning**: The lift industry is always evolving, and so should you. Mention any additional courses or seminars you've attended. If you're gunning for that NVQ Level 4, talk about your commitment to professional development. It shows you're serious about your career trajectory. 4️⃣ **Safety First**: Emphasize your understanding of health and safety protocols. A track record of safe installations and maintenance is a massive plus. It's not just about keeping things running; it's about keeping people safe while you do it. 5️⃣ **Soft Skills Shine**: Don't forget to showcase those soft skills. Communication, problem-solving, and teamwork are just as important when you're 20 floors up troubleshooting a technical issue as they are in the office. 🎓 Now, about that NVQ Level 4. It's the gold standard for those looking to move into managerial roles. To obtain it, you'll need to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of lift technology, health and safety legislation, and people management. It's a blend of on-the-job experience and formal learning. My advice? Connect with a training provider that specializes in lift engineering qualifications and get that ball rolling. Are you someone commenting "Interested". on every hiring post of LinkedIn?? This post is for you please read it........ 1 I always advice candidates to check JD before you hit apply button but I often see people commenting on the posts wherein people just wrote hiring without adding any details 2.Understand that scams happen this way only if you are looking for a job first read that post than type interested if it matches to your skills. 3 Mam mujhe toh job chahiye koi bhi chalegi now you tell me can you give carpenter work 🪚 to electrician 🎇 obviously not than how can you apply for every open position 4 goals are important clear it and apply accordingly otherwise you may end up landing a job that won't excite you in long run.... Hope this helps😊 For interview preparation and spoken english queries drop me a DM . #hr #hrjobs #hrlife #hr #spokenengli
