For freshers, finding opportunities can indeed be quite challenging, especially in times when competition is fierce and distractions are abundant. It's natural to ponder our next steps after graduation.
However, seeking a job or internship can be daunting. Sometimes we land placements, and sometimes we don't, which can be disheartening. This phase can feel like a low point, but it's crucial to focus on self-growth, honing our skills, staying active, and engaging with others.
Even if a job or internship offer comes with a lower stipend or package, it's important not to dismiss it hastily. This is a common mistake we make early in our careers, where compromises are inevitable. However, the experiences gained over time are invaluable and contribute to our career growth.
It's essential not to get demotivated or compare ourselves with others. Instead, we should strive to give our best, understand our strengths, focus on our goals, and learn from our mistakes.
Being a fresher is not a mistake, but failing to learn from mistakes as a fresher is. Therefore, we should embrace opportunities and avoid rejecting them for trivial reasons.

Recently, I met an individual who started an internship at a renowned multinational company (MNC) based on her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. She left Raipur, Chhattisgarh, to pursue this opportunity, bearing all her expenses in a pricey city in Mumbai.
Eager to secure a job, she approached various teams and even the manager. The response was disheartening: "You don't have an engineering degree, so there's no chance for you." Shocked and disappointed, she questioned why they chose a BBA profile for an internship if only engineers are considered for jobs. The company remained silent.
Despite completing a month-long internship, she received no response from the company. This experience has left her disheartened and questioning her next steps.
For companies, it's easy to hire interns with minimal interview processes, but when it comes to offering a job, many questions arise about education, work experience, marriage, location, and more.
It's crucial for companies to align their internship programs with clear pathways for potential employment. Interns invest their time and resources, hoping for a future within the organization. Let's create a more inclusive and supportive environment where talent is recognized, regardless of their academic background.
