Expert Talent Acquisition Trainer | Bringing awareness to the Collision industry | Helping collision professionals find the right organization | Special Operations Vet
🚨Autobody Technician Job title change! I posted a video yesterday about changing the job title to Automotive structural Re-Engineer. Amazing amount of shares and messages came in with support for it. What do you guys think? Who is behind this? It will attract young adults. The perception will make parents ask more about it before making judgement. We can fix the false pay average on google by separating levels. Automotive collision apprentice Junior automotive structural reengineer(c/b) Senior automotive structural reengineer (A) Lead ASR As I speak to parents moving forward this is what I will be addressing this job title as. The skills it takes with different metals, crash management systems, electronics and calibrations justifys an adjustment in title. Let’s respect the level of talent and dedication it takes to make it in this profession. A google search of the pay in this profession turns off 98% of people who look it up. Changing and adding different tiers will allow the average pay to accurately show the potential in good earnings within the career.
