What is the key difference between waterfall and agile? Me thinks: Waterfall- you know what you want to build and how to build it. Your learnings are at an individual level. Agile- you are uncertain about what you want to build or how you are going to build it. Your learnings are at the team level.

It truly is amazing how differently you think through situations when you’re calm. Sometimes you need to disconnect from whatever it is at hand and just review facts. It’s certainly okay to feel your emotions! It’s certainly okay to experience and express your emotions! But you have to control your emotions….. Stick them in a “bucket”, a “box” or “on the back burner”, whatever you gotta do…. But remove the emotion, understand the facts and THEN put the emotion back into the situation when you’ve left the situation. I LOVE to feel emotions…. To understand them….. but there is a time and place for them.
