Meet Mahadev Baidya, Senior Security Guard who’s been guarding more than just the doors of Red FM’s Delhi office. Mahadev, as we all know him, is the first face you see when you enter - always ready with a warm smile and a bright "Good morning, Ma’am" or "Sir." His voice, wrapped in genuine kindness, has this remarkable way of pausing your day, no matter how hurried or hectic it might be. You’ll find yourself slowing down, smiling back, and feeling like you belong. It’s not a script or a routine. It’s Mahadev. Mahadev joined us back in 2008, a young man in his twenties who traveled all the way from Kolkata. He was a true-blue Bengali, adjusting to the bustling life of Delhi and struggling through Hindi. Over time, he perfected not just his language but the art of his role. Now, as a supervisor, he’s grown to be a part of everything that happens here - welcoming celebrities, guiding guests, helping new recruits find their way, and giving a reassuring nod to every familiar face that passes through. He holds the pulse of the place, ensuring that everyone feels both safe and at home. He is someone who gets the job done without fanfare, with a quiet strength and diligence that’s hard to find. Over the years, his journey from Kolkata to Delhi, from young recruit to respected supervisor, has marked his growth and also added something irreplaceable to Red FM. To us, Mahadev is family. In every greeting, every nod, and every gentle reminder, he embodies a rare dedication and warmth, a part of the soul that makes this place feel like home. P.S.
