Have you seen the news? The Prince Rupert pub reopens today following an extensive £170k refurbishment! Blending its medieval heritage with modern playful touches, the pub’s interior has been reimagined with contemporary finishes, still with all the same charming nooks and crannies, creating the perfect escape for drinking and dining with friends and family in Newark, Nottinghamshire 😊 Tucked inside The Prince Rupert is a brand-new speakeasy bar, ‘The Woolpack’ - a completely unique concept within the growing @RedCat Pub Company portfolio. Opening next Friday (18th October), this clandestine treat will allow those ‘in the know’ moody lighting, killer cocktails, and a nod to the 70s. Alongside the real ales and drinks choices already loved by locals, a bigger, bolder range of spirits, ciders and craft beers will also be available. A fantastic new food menu has been introduced to celebrate and showcase pub classics, as well as brand new hand stretched pizza options! 🍕✨ A massive thank you to everyone involved in this project, especially The Prince Rupert’s incredible General Manager, @Samantha Johnson 🙏 Keep an eye out for more exciting updates to come, and read on for more via @Nottinghamshire Live : https://lnkd.in/ebwkc37y

Any plans to reopen the Colton Arms in Kensington?
Well Done, love the nod to the 70’s, that’s a good era
I am looking forward to choosing a meal from the new menu next week. Great to see this amount of investment in our local historic pub
