Great work, and feedback, from one of the teams who were supporting the internal inspection of a pipe this week. Installation of anchor points to set up a fall protection and recovery system (the pipe was steeply sloping) and confined space support for our client and their contractor. #Safety #WorkingatHeight #ConfinedSpace #ConfinedSpaceRescue www.redlinesafety.co.uk

Happy Monday! Look what we found. During a recent visit to a tenant job, we stumbled upon this violation. According to state regulations, this setup is a no-go. 🛑 Per code, no more than two heads should be supplied from a 1-inch pipe, unless the system was specifically designed otherwise. Compliance matters, and we’re here to ensure safety and adherence to regulations. . . . #deescofireprotection #onthejob #fireprotection #atlanta #firesafety #totalfireprotection #firealarmsystem #welovefireprotection #retrofit #whatwedobest #pipefitters #pipefitter #pipefitting #committedtosafety #beprepared #atlga #atlanta #firealarm #firealarmsystem #fireandlifesafety #backflowpreventer #fireprotectionsystems #firesystems

Fall Protection Equipment (FPE) is crucial in the construction industry to ensure the safety of workers working at heights. Here are some commonly used fall protection equipment in construction: 1) Fall Arrest Systems: Fall arrest systems consist of a combination of equipment, such as harnesses, retractables, life lines, and anchor points, that work together to arrest a worker's fall and prevent them from hitting the ground. 2) Guardrails: Guardrails are barrier that are installed along the edge of elevated work platforms or open sides to prevent workers from accidentally falling off. 3) Safety Nets: Safety nets are positioned below elevated work areas to catch workers in case of a fall. They are designed to absorb the energy of a fall and prevent workers from hitting the ground or other objects. Furthermore, it is essential to follow proper training and guidelines when using fall protection equipment to ensure maximum safety. #SafetyFirst #WorkAtHeight #Fall_Protection_Equipment

You turn your back for 5 minutes.... A new cable penetration has breached a previously installed face fixed ablative batt #firestop seal. What's the issue? What's the knock on effect? What's the remedy? This is a common example of what can happen in buildings inbetween their annual #fireriskassessment? No-one gives much notice to the seemingly simple running of a new cable, or upgrading an old service for a new one. The Fire Consultancy Specialists compartmentation surveyors have the knowledge and expertise to recognise these issues. Once all the relevant information is collected, they work with the responsible person to find a compliant resolution. #buildingsafety #passivefire #propertymaintenance #responsibleperson #passivefireprotection #estatemanagement
