I have seen this dysfunctional storyline play out over and over again, that I felt it's high time I talked about it.
You are the Hr manager of the organisation, please what are you doing picking your boss's kids from school?
You are the Admin officer of the organisation, what are you doing running market errands?
You are the Operations manager of the organisation, what are you doing picking up your boss's inlaws from the airport?
I hear solid professionals say "I don't want them to think that I am proud or uncooperative" or "this is the only job I have" or "on my offer letter, it says And Any Other Duty". So, does this translate to buying pepper in the market? Hmm 😒
I have seen employees in their bid to be loyal, lose their dignity and respect in the work place. Why are you taking up responsibilities not stated on the job you applied for?
You are the HR of the company , then suddenly, your boss's friends will send in documents from their entirely different companies for you to work on and revert ASAP and you, with your "loyal" self, will receive it and start deploying your expertise for free. Ahhh. Just like that?
Now, you have done it repeatedly so that you have crossed the NO boundary. Now you are bitter and feeling undervalued. What did you expect 😳
This year, you must change ooo. you cannot continue like this please.
