Life @ RedRock | The Summer Treasure Hunt What a great day out in the sun as we went on a Treasure hunt around Clifton. It was an opportunity for colleagues from different departments to come together and put their creative and problem-solving skills to the test. Our true character is revealed not by what we can do, but by the choices we make. Everyone has abilities and talents, but it’s how we decide to use them that defines who we are. Abilities are important, but they are just potential. Choices are actions, and they show our values, beliefs, and priorities. When we make decisions, especially in challenging situations, we demonstrate our true selves. Choosing to be kind, even when it’s hard, shows compassion. Opting for honesty, even when a lie would be easier, shows integrity. Deciding to work hard, even when it’s tempting to take shortcuts, shows dedication. These choices reflect our inner character more than any innate ability ever could. It’s easy to admire someone for their skills or talents, but what truly matters is how they use those abilities. Do they help others or just themselves? Do they strive for good or only seek personal gain? Our choices shape our lives and the lives of those around us. They define our legacy. Abilities might open doors, but choices determine where those doors lead. #Character #Choices #Integrity #PersonalGrowth #TrueSelf #Parking #Parkqwik #Monthlyparking #Parkingsolution #Parkingsuperstar #Parkingmadeeasy

In the realm of sales, success often stems from embracing discomfort. Those who thrive understand that stepping outside one's comfort zone is not just a challenge but a prerequisite for growth. In this dynamic field, the willingness to navigate the unfamiliar, push boundaries, and engage in discomfort is not merely a choice; it's a strategic move toward achieving unparalleled success and carving a distinguished path in the competitive landscape of sales.
From this week's Farnam Street 🧠 🥘 "You’re only as good as you’re willing to be bad…The fact that you’re not going to be good at something or that you’re going to fail at something—that’s OK. Because you’re never going to get good unless you’re willing to be bad.” — Randall Stutman ***My new superpower in life is that I keep leaning into new challenges even if I'm bad at it to start - I wish I would of understood the power of Randall's statement as a young athlete/earlier in my career What are you "bad" at these day's? Diving into the amazing atmosphere at #SouthernExposure and reigniting connections within the vibrant produce community has truly highlighted the immense power of collaboration, inspiration, and united passion in our field. This event brings to light a vital lesson that resonates well beyond any specific occasion or industry: As we navigate the path to realizing our dreams and objectives, while we’ll find champions in our corner, we’re also bound to face skeptics and naysayers. Some might warn us about the saturation in our paths or the daunting challenges ahead. However, it’s in these exact moments that our determination is put to the test, allowing our true capabilities to emerge brilliantly. Consider this: Instead of letting doubt and obstacles weaken your spirit, let them be the fuel that strengthens your resolve. It’s crucial to remember that every arena, no matter how packed, is ripe for innovation, distinction, and your unique narrative. Even the most saturated paths were once uncharted until someone had the courage to forge a new route. Be that pioneer. Approach your journey with bold confidence, cherishing the unparalleled value you offer. After all, the most transformative episodes in our lives often commence just beyond the realm of skepticism, propelled by a vision uniquely yours. For those maneuvering through doubt or the disheartening chants of “it’s impossible,” bear in mind: The arenas brimming with contenders are also the stages for the most extraordinary innovations, not in spite of the rivalry, but because of it. Your endeavor, driven by steadfast faith and tireless effort, is both essential and brimming with promise. Continue to stride forward, for the magic you’re set to unveil is eagerly anticipated by the world. #Perseverance #Innovation #Trailblazer #SouthernExposure #Empowerment #DreamBig #OvercomeDoubt #UniqueValue #Breakthroughs #KeepPushingForward

#Seasons 2 Right now, we are at a #crossroad. And we have two options. We can either approach this brave new world from a place of #FEAR or from a place of #HOPE. And I believe for those of us who choose the latter, for those who choose to lean into this massively changing business landscape in front of us right now and #ADAPT, for those of us who choose to zig when others zag, there is tremendous #OPPORTUNITY. To paraphrase Albert Camus: In the midst of winter, there lies within you an #invincible summer. And no matter how hard the world pushes against you, there's something #stronger, something better, pushing right back. But it does require taking BOLD #ACTION. And very likely may require making some HARD #CHOICES. #seasons #TimesOfLife

Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid. This is a reminder that we should not judge others based on our own narrow criteria. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, and what might be considered "genius" in one area could be considered "stupid" in another. For instance, a fish might be considered "stupid" if you judge it by its ability to climb a tree. However, the fish is actually a master at swimming and navigating its underwater environment. In the same way, we should not judge others based on their ability to perform tasks that we are good at. Instead, we should celebrate their unique talents and abilities. We should not make assumptions about people based on their appearance, race, gender, or any other factor. We should celebrate their diversity and unique perspectives. I hope this post has inspired you to be less judgmental and more accepting of others. Remember, everyone is a genius in their own way. #Thoughts #TalentAcquisition

Life can be a bit like a roller coaster, full of ups and downs. Sometimes, it can feel like we're stuck in a loop of the downs, the tough times that make us question ourselves. But what if we chose to face these hard times head-on, to really dive in and tackle them for 90 days straight like Easton Padden does? It's not easy, but if we commit to this, to really showing up for ourselves, to reaching out when we need help, to sticking to our plans, we might just find that we come out the other side stronger, more resilient, and ready to take on whatever comes next. In the end, it's all about perseverance. ◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️ Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/eA8PdHmb ◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️ With Easton Padden #PersonalGrowth #OvercomingChallenges #CommitmentAndDedication
