UI/UX Design Intern at CodSoft I am delighted to share my experience as a UI/UX Design Intern at CodSoft, where I had the opportunity to design an innovative restaurant menu as part of a key project. During my internship, I was responsible for: User Research: Conducted comprehensive user research, including interviews and surveys, to understand customer preferences and dining habits. Created user personas and journey maps to guide the design process. Information Architecture: Developed an intuitive information architecture to ensure that the menu was easy to navigate and that users could quickly find the information they needed. Wireframing and Prototyping: Created detailed wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma and Adobe XD to visualize different design concepts and test usability. Visual Design: Designed a visually appealing and user-friendly menu interface that aligned with the restaurant's brand identity. Focused on readability, color schemes, and imagery to enhance the dining experience. User Testing: Conducted usability testing sessions to gather feedback from potential users, identify pain points, and iterate on the design to improve functionality and user satisfaction. Collaboration: Worked closely with the development team, marketing team, and restaurant stakeholders to ensure the design met business objectives and was implemented effectively. Key achievements: Designed a modern and intuitive restaurant menu that improved user engagement and increased order accuracy by 30%. Implemented user feedback to refine the design, resulting in high user satisfaction and positive reviews from restaurant patrons. Created a responsive menu design that provided a seamless experience across different devices, including tablets and smartphones. This project allowed me to leverage my skills in user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design. I am excited to apply these skills to future projects and continue evolving as a UI/UX designer. #codsoft CodSoft

Connecting Companies with Design Excellence! 🚀 Unlock Top UI/UX Design Talent at Designerrs Academy. Elevate Your Team's Design Game! #UIUX #DesignTalent #HiringInnovation
As a UI/UX designer, I've come to the realization that our job is a never-ending quest to create interfaces that are both visually stunning and intuitively functional. It's a delicate balance, like trying to juggle a stack of wireframes while simultaneously doing the robot. Relatable Struggles: - When the client wants a design that's "simple, yet complex" 🤯 - Trying to explain the difference between "padding" and "margin" to a non-designer 🤦♀️ - Spending hours perfecting the perfect shade of blue, only to have the client say, "Can we make it pop more?" 💙 - Constantly fighting the urge to add more gradients, drop shadows, and animations than a Vegas casino 🎰 Embracing the Chaos: But you know what they say, "If you can't beat 'em, meme 'em!" That's why I've decided to embrace the absurdity of our profession and share a few fresh, never-before-used tags that capture the essence of our design struggles: #DesignLifeIsAMeme #ClientsWantTheImpossible #PaddingVsMargin101 #BlueIsTheNewBlack #GradientGalore So, fellow designers, let's raise a glass (of coffee) to the endless pursuit of pixel-perfect perfection. May our designs be as sharp as our wit and as captivating as our sense of humor. 🍻 Hire the best talent from us via https://lnkd.in/g59miHyq

Product Designer | Designing real cutting edge experiences | UX, Motion integrated in UX, YouTube Explainers | Crafting Mobile and Web Design Experiences | Expertise WCAG, User Research, UX Consulting
I came across a question today, “If you were on a UI UX hiring panel, what would be the important things in the CV/Resume you would look for”? Firstly this question is pre supposing that everyone who applies for a UI UX job is doing so for an agency. There is no standard answer for this. 🔷 A really limited interviewer would look for 1-2 pixel difference in wireframe work. I’d say then the candidate should reject this company. This is a death trap and a career wormhole. 🔷 Design isn’t done in isolation. If they are representing their work well not only in a portfolio but in a blog such as on Medium, have experimented with Visual Design and/or show interest in other fields like motion design - they are good hire. It means they can quickly learn new tools and adapt themselves to changes. 🔷 I’d look for a few behavioural traits like ‘seniority complex’ . A bad fish generally spoils the pond. I’ve seen UX architects bring the mind rot to entire agencies, setting in motion disastrous change of events. If the behaviour sets ‘my solution is the only right solution’ vibe into motion - they are a really bad hire. Let’s not even get the chain of events that follows post this. A UI UX Designer should be friendly, inspire to follow not order to follow. De-militarise the playing field for other designers. #badhiring #uiux
