Why is no one talking about how much remote work has drastically impacted the length and timelines of interviews?! I was talking to a friend recently who said that he was at interview #8 for a regular AE role including several onsite “Batch Interviews.” 8+ for an Entry Level AE! For real? They don’t even have that much experience for you to dig into that deep! Maybe if they had 20+ years worth of experience that you were trying to learn and unpack but that’s a bit much. More serious question - How was it 20 years ago? Was 8+ conversations normal with several onsite, etc. Did you take PTO for every interview? How does that even work? Would love some insights from my more seasoned folks! #remotework #hiring #interviewtips
