They describe the plan as authoritarian and a step toward autocracy, with significant concerns over the erosion of the separation of church and state. Abolishing the Department of Education. Reforming the National Institutes of Health. Cutting funding for Medicare and Medicaid. Rejecting abortion as healthcare. Eliminate coverage of emergency contraception under the Affordable Care Act.
