When building a business you need to focus on retention! I’ve seen so many businesses fail, not because their product sucks, but because they refuse to sell to the same person twice. In fact, I wholeheartedly believe that most businesses don’t know what customer retention is! Remember, old friends are far more loyal than the new. Keep the relationships with your old customers strong while systematically building new ones.
In the first 9 months of your business, it’s easy to get caught up in just making money. But you shouldn’t only be chasing new sales. Why? Because after those first 9 months, sales can plateau or even fall. But if you’ve been focusing on keeping your customers happy and emotionally invested in your business, they’ll stick around and bring in referrals too.

Sales People and Business Owners, When it comes to closing a sale, it is essential that you focus on the benefits that your potential customer stands to gain whenever you are selling, not the features of your product/service. In most cases, it's easy for them to read the features by themselves, benefits aren't always obvious, hence you'd have to intentionally focus and expand on them. Now, go and get them, Tiger!
