Last weekend I went to snag an OZ of Cresco's High Supply Double Trouble Sativa at Sunnyside Wrigley (my old stomping grounds!) 😜. Here's what I noticed... 💚 The dispensary really had the flow down to a science at one of the busiest locations in the city. As a medical patient, it was about 5 MINUTES from ID scan to check-out. 💚 The Budtenders were knowledgeable, upbeat and efficient - I even had trouble with my account, which they quickly corrected for me. 💚 I left feeling noticeably uplifted (and not just because I had a fat sack of weed in tow..) 💚 Employees who feel confident in their systems and products will WORK better, FEEL better, and SELL better. Temping food product on a prep line is a process frequently missed, especially during a rush cycle. The time to read and record on a manual clipboard is cumbersome and challenging to effectively perform the steps needed for each product on the line. Unfortunately it is far easier to skip those steps and create inaccurate temperature logs. Alternatively, you can save significant time by reducing the manual steps of temp capture and creating accurate digital HACCP logs, inclusive of automatic corrective action when there is an issue. #averydennison #qsr #foodsafety #tempreaturemanagement https://lnkd.in/gWd6xWri

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and operate high-speeded production equipment and/or complex brewing systems with attention to detail and a sense of urgency. Love these posts from the Ginsberg's Foods team. Great job of establishing the brand of a company by featuring the people who make the company what it is. How is Ginsberg's, a regional food distributor, going to stand out when so many products are commoditized? They showcase their people. I want to open a restaurant just to buy from this guy, and from the team that he considers family. Branding isn't just marketing to potential customers. It is also attracting additional employees and making the enterprise/company/brand more attractive to other companies as partners. I'd suggest some design tweaks and mechanics within the edit, but full props to the messages. #branding #brandbuilding

Think that working at a grocery store is a dead-end job for high school students or people lacking better options? Think again. Chains like Whole Foods (https://loom.ly/dlb_QFE) have been investing heavily in apprenticeship programs. (https://loom.ly/FqSWdiM) In 2023, CEO Jason Buechel (https://loom.ly/xR8LJIQ) noted that they’d seen over 10,000 employees promoted thanks to those paid apprenticeships. (https://loom.ly/-3i-Zeo) So far, they have apprenticeship programs in butchery, cheesemongering, and bakery decoration. But they’re not ready to call it a day. They’ve got big plans in store for pizza-making, produce specialist, and fishmongering tracks. Considering how common apprenticing has been for thousands of years, it’s no wonder that Whole Foods is taking advantage. These programs aren’t just fancy titles, either. They are intensive programs that can take years to complete. The prize? Certification. Even employees who don’t want to stay at Whole Foods can take those certifications and apply elsewhere, improving their overall opportunities. Working at Wal-Mart Being expected to stock each box in 60 seconds is unachievable. Rotating stock is not done because of the time limit given. Items are put incorrectly on the shelf because of the pressure. AI has been incorrect on the amount of items that need to be replaced on the shelf. I have an associates degree in management and will never be considered for such a position. I believe in proper training and treating everyone with respect. I also believe in putting employees in positions that best suits their ability. I have had to go from full-time to part-time due to my having lupus and having to handle heavy freight. last night I had to move in just sugar about 600 pounds.There is no type of proper training for new employees. No rotation of stock for most items. I think I should be able to give high quality to a job that I care about instead of high quantity. Being proud of a job well done has slipped away. I want to be able to love my job and be proud of a job well done.
