I Use Security Risk Analysis to Streamline & Simplify the Process of Proactive Protection. I recently used intelligence gathering, CCTV camera review and data analysis to recover stolen items at Penn District, NYC.
Garcia describes a physical security system (PSS) as an integrate of human agent, procedures, and equipment for the protection of assets or facilities against theft, sabotage, or other malevolent human attacks. The author added that the design of an effective PSS requires a methodical approach in which the designer weighs the objectives of the PSS against available resources and then evaluates the proposed design to determine how well it meets the objectives. “Without this kind of systematic assessment, the PSS might waste valuable resources on unnecessary protection or, worse yet, fail to provide adequate protection at critical points of the facility.”(Garcia, M.L., 2008:1). https://lnkd.in/e6gHZgQb
