🇦🇺 🚨 Turbine Fault at Gorgon LNG: Weeks of Repair for Train 2 Gorgon operates the highly reliable MS7001EA gas turbine “Chevron Australia is working to resume full production from the Gorgon Gas Facility following a mechanical fault which is affecting one LNG production train. The fault occurred about 3pm AWST on Tuesday 30 April in a turbine. Repair activities have commenced and are expected to take a number of weeks. #LNG #Chevron #GorgonLNG #gasturbine

The Most commonly control system used in complex subsea production system is Multiplexed Electro Hydraulic system. These systems give good response times over long distances, a major limitation being the recharging of the hydraulic supply over such a long umbilical. Figure below shows a typical (MUX E/H) system.
