Thinking about retirement? In retirement? You might find this article helpful. I was drawn initially by the title, "Retirement Without Regrets." For anyone who has established a meaningful professional identity over a decades-long career, retirement represents a huge—and potentially wrenching—transition. While some people navigate it well, many struggle. Check it out - what are your thoughts on "retirement?" Curious minds... 😃
Work whilst at times rewarding should never define you. Family, friends, pets, hobbies etc. should be the underpinnings of your existence.
Interesting - I maintained contact with the science that I was involved with. Continued to attend meetings where possible. Also doing a bit of consulting. Toastmasters provides some social interactions that I would not otherwise get. I’m really busy with that and hobbies!
