Our grassroots music ecosystem is under threat. Calls for a £1 ticket levy on stadiums and arenas have been given the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee’s seal of approval. 📄 Now is the time for industry to find consensus on delivering a voluntary levy, ensuring its parameters and delivery are set by industry experts. If not, our political parties must include a commitment to introducing a statutory scheme by September 2024 in their General Election manifestos.
