A Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) is a professional who has been recognised by their peers as qualified and experienced in the field of sustainability. Sustainability means, of course, the capacity to continue, not just "not harming the environment". This means that at GATE (Global Association for Transition Engineering) being a Chartered Environmentalist means having the expertise and experience to advise and guide clients or employers along a route of change towards achieving sustainability, to deliver a programme of adaptation so that the client or employer can continue to meet customer needs within the changing constraints of the external business environment. These constraints include climate-changing greenhouse-gas-emissions, but also the constraints of dependence on finite resources, biodiversity destruction, pollution, and equality. A CEnv is a superhero agent of change, somebody on whom you will look back from the future as a key element in the success and survival or your organisation.
🌎 As we mark our 20-year milestone and near the anniversary of our first CEnv registration in 2004, we pause to consider the value of professional registration. 💡 Join us in exploring what professional registration means to 20 of our incredible Chartered Environmentalists and following this if you have yet to contemplate obtaining CEnv status for yourself, we pose the question - if not now, then when? Hi Paul Koffi Congratulations and well done. Congratulations and well done. As part of Paul's end-of-module assignment, he had to write a technical report to present to senior management on a GxP computerized system application. The report included details on: 👉 Concept of the chosen data management system, including what the original URS wanted to achieve in terms of data generation and management, the risk management assessment to support the critical decisions made in the choices that were taken in the design/specification of the data management, the document control that was put in place to record the data generated for future audit. 👉 The project itself has to be defined, using tools like the V-model to describe the steps taken in the project to gather data and how the IQ-OQ-PQ phases ensured that the system installed (or to be installed) is fit for purpose to manage/control the electronic data generated (and how it met or modified the requirements of the URS). 👉 The learnings (or expected learnings) from the Operation of the system have to be described noting key data management areas such as CAPA’s and Maintenance, and the systems used to ensure that nothing crashes and no data is lost. 👉 The preparations for the Retirement of the system at some time in the future have to be described, noting how the electronic data can be migrated to another system (or deleted). Well done again on your hard work.
I’m delighted to receive my Certificate of Award in ‘Computer System Validation’ from GetReskilled. Donagh Fitzgerald

🎉 WTS is officially a B Corp! There's no finish line for the good we can do through WTS and we're committed to continually working to be better every day. So we chose B Corp's Certification process as a way to assess our community impact and find areas of opportunities to grow that impact. We believe their "no stone left unturned" approach will help us: ✔️ Have a holistic view of our operations in relation to our impact ✔️ Find new impact areas we haven't thought of that make sense for us ✔️ Measure ourselves and be able to benchmark to similar organizations ✔️ Set goals and targets to grow our impact over time This was an intense 7-month process and we landed at a score of 82.1, just above the passing score of 80. In the next few weeks, we'll be putting together a summary plan of what we work on next to help grow our impact and raise that score. We can't wait to share that with all of you. ➡ In the meantime, check us out on the B Corp site for more info on our score: https://lnkd.in/gHX5J8jx
