🔬 Advancing Telehealth Innovation: Celebrating the Success of the Lifebox Project 🔬 Last Friday, we wrapped up an incredible project—a collaboration between the Rehabilitation Robotics Laboratory and Highway Innovation. This project, funded by Alberta Innovates through ST Innovations , was a successful example of collaboration between academia and industry. Together, we developed the Lifebox which measure various vital signs with a single, portable unit with broad applications in telehealth and future home-based care. Lifebox is available on Android, iOS, desktop with bluetooth and and cable connections. Next up, we'll be working towards securing Investigational Testing Authority (ITA) to begin clinical validation, with the ultimate goal of commercialization and scaling. A special shoutout to the team at Highway Innovation and our collaborators at the University of Alberta’s iSMART Institute for their great support. #Telehealth #UAlberta #RRL #Lifebox
