Celebrating World Earth Day Today 🌎 Today marks an important observance of our planet's beauty and the pressing need for collective action towards its preservation. As a warehousing and logistics company, World Earth Day provides an excellent occasion for us at Store-All Logistics to reflect on our relationship with the Earth and to strengthen our commitment to its protection. Our dedication to becoming greener extends beyond our daily operations to also include major projects. In our recent extension of BV2 Warehouse, Bay 10 was constructed with environmentally-friendly materials and methods in mind as much as possible. ✓we used the best wall and roof insulating panels available to achieve Part L compliance. ✓we used the most up to date air to water condensers to provide climate control to building, while minimising energy consumption. ✓we implemented LED lighting throughout with occupancy detection We are committed to sustainability through: ✓ Employee training programmes and partnerships with eco-friendly organisations. ✓ Continuing to implement green initiatives and logistical innovations. ✓ Selecting suppliers who prioritise environmental considerations. ✓ Significantly reducing our paper usage and offsetting essential printing with tree planting. ✓ Providing numerous recycling points throughout our facilities. At Store-All we use every opportunity to initiate meaningful changes in our daily routines, from reducing waste to planting trees, or supporting sustainable practices and we encourage the same. Amidst the joy of savoring 'Death by Chocolate,' let us not forget that in the vast oceans, marine life endures 'Death by Plastic.' Our indulgences should not cost the lives of those beneath the waves.   A 2018 study predicted at least 79,000 tonnes of ocean plastic are floating inside an area of 1.6 million sq km (618,000 sq miles) – a figure that is four to 16 times higher than previously reported.
