It's the unofficial start of summer here at Reldan. Every year, a tent is constructed, allowing employees to enjoy their lunch or break outside while staying out of the elements. Just one small way to show our appreciation and dedication to our employee self-care. #reldan #intelligentrefining #employeeperk #bringonsummer #enjoytheoutdoors

It's Startling Statistic Saturday again here at Swift Bunny and according to our 2023 Swift Bunny Index, mid-year engagement trending shows that 34% of Maintenance Team Members are interested in a different role in the next year! 😱 👀 Yet, 25% don’t have a clear understanding of their career path 👀 And 25% don’t agree that someone at work encourages their development WHY does it matter if employees don’t understand their career path? BECAUSE as we said before, 34% are interested in a different role in the next year. In other words, they are looking for an opportunity to do something else. So, why not make it easy for them to do that something else for your organization and rather than go somewhere else? Schedule a personalized consultation with our team today and start learning how to create an environment that makes it easier for your employees to STAY! https://bit.ly/3KCYr8h

#Helping_Hand Encouraging a culture of seeking support is a valuable quality that every employee should embrace. It doesn't imply shifting your workload onto others; rather, it involves proactively seeking guidance and collaborating with teammates to improve understanding and finish critical tasks. This is precisely why we've instituted the 'Helping Hands Policy' at Flits , where colleagues unite to provide assistance for significant tasks when needed. #helpinghand #Flits #growingtogether

Leadership Coach ⎸ Team Facilitator I Fractional People Leader I Future of Work Advocate ⎸ Work-in-Progress Human
Companies mandating X days in the office for no good reason apart from "It's our (firm) policy", please consider this: ➡️ are you really attracting and retaining best people? I'd argue not...🙈 ➡️ are you sending out a clear message about trust and autonomy? I guess so - and clarity is important, whatever that may look like...🤷🏻♀️ ➡️ have you thought about why the office presence is even needed? Are people actually working TOGETHER, talking to one another, workshopping and collaborating or is everyone just head down in their laptop, or hunkered down in the meeting rooms on external calls...🤔 ➡️ could your people not do something more productive with their commute time? I bet they could - they could spend the wasted time thinking, doing, connecting, or resting. Hey, they could even work more, should they want to! 🙇🏻♀️ ➡️ are you asking people to come back due to leaders personal preference, or the fact that you simply have an office with 3+ years still to go on the lease? Either way, are you sure these are the _right_ reasons...🤨 Yes, it's an employers market right now, but it won't be forever. Treating people as adults pays back dividends and treating them like naughty children will inevitably backfire - at least when it comes to talented people committed to do that great work you're after. https://lnkd.in/eHYKn6hg

How often have we heard the adage, "Use the right tool for the job?" It seems simple, almost trivial. Yet, time and again, it's overlooked in favor of makeshift solutions or cutting corners. Today's video is a stark illustration of what can go wrong when we ignore this timeless wisdom. Our protagonist attempts a precarious balancing act: loading a hefty washer onto a pickup using a barrow ill-suited for the task, held together by a flimsy strap. The inevitable happens - the strap snaps, the washer topples, and he stumbles, narrowly avoiding a potentially dangerous fall. A clear case of a task gone awry due to not using the right tools. In our workplaces and homes, the temptation to improvise is often strong, especially when under pressure. But every shortcut, every substitute tool, elevates the risk of accidents, inefficiencies, and potential damage. The lesson is clear: Proper tools aren't just a matter of convenience; they are integral to safety and efficiency. Investing in the right equipment and ensuring its proper use isn't just about doing a job correctly. It's about safeguarding our well-being and those around us. Today, let's take a moment to reassess our tasks. Are we equipped with the right tools? If not, let's prioritize safety and effectiveness over haste and makeshift solutions. Because, in the end, the right tool isn't just a means to an end; it's the difference between a job well-done and a disaster waiting to happen. At the Safetyman Academy, we place a high emphasis on cultivating a high level of safety training and safety awareness, through our online CPD and ISO 21001 certified training courses. Our programs are designed to remind every worker, manager, and employer that attention to detail is paramount when it comes to safety. We're proud to make our courses available in 60 languages, reaching out to learners worldwide, bridging linguistic barriers, and fostering an environment of global learning. Manifesting your ideal client starts with clarity—about who you are and what you stand for. At Spodek & Co., we've taken this to heart by formally defining our core values that embody not just our professional ethos but our personal convictions as well. 🌟 In 2020, we articulated values that create safe spaces, promote integrity, spark creativity, encourage learning, ensure respect, maximize client value, and support our community. Although these values have always guided us, it was the first time we committed them to print in a way that involved every team member, ensuring our values were authentically rooted in our collective vision. Since sharing these values openly, we've experienced a kind of magic—drawing clients who not only seek our services but share our vision and passion. By making our values public, we're not just attracting clients—we're inviting vibrant, authentic, and aligned partnerships that help us all thrive. We’d love to hear how others integrate their core values into their business practices. Share your stories with us! https://bit.ly/3JkswIF #BusinessValues #ClientRelationships #WomenLed
