From Rizz to Gyatt to SMH. Slang is a huge part of the way #genz and #genalpha communicate online. We've compiled a slang dictionary to help #parents and #teachers decode the forbidden language of youth. Kids online safety is a serious topic, communication between kids and parents is key, but that didn't stop us from having a bit of fun with the task of creating a comprehensive dictionary. We've also created a fun little questionnaire to help parents and grandparents (grown ups) test their knowledge. Link in first comment.

Following the success of our Girls’ Kit survey in January, we now need your help to hear from the boys! What do they think of their kit? Is there anything they would change? If you’re a coach or parent of boys, what do you think affects them the most in terms of stopping them being active? We need your help to build a better picture of why boys might not stay active and to ensure that their kit is not a barrier to participation. You can find the Boys' Kit survey here: https://lnkd.in/efcu-Ftj

Just how early can a child begin to learn braille? Well, before they can read braille, they need to do pre-braille activities. A child with a vision impairment's journey to literacy should be the same pace as a sighted child's! To see how CSC preps young children to read braille, read this month's blog: https://ow.ly/OlAW50QtaCG

Why discipline? The true definition of discipline, or teaching, has the power and potential to change your life and the life of your child in the most positive ways. Our content teaches you how to turn any stressful interaction with your child into an empowering (and enlightening) lesson that will stay with your child forever. This is done by turning the stressful moment (tantrums, throwing stuff around, yelling, etc…) into what I call a “teachable moment” with your child. It starts with your choice to discipline and not punish aka shame your child. "A teachable moment is really a neuro-emotional loving moment, a building block that forms a thought and feeling of self worth in your child’s impressionable brain" Self worth brain building can only be done with love. That’s easy when your child is happy and “acting good”. It’s not so easy to do when your child is in the middle of a tantrum and screaming their head off. That’s where Prodigi Kids can best support you. We show you how to make parenting easy even in the most stressful of interactions.
