𝐏𝐀𝐊𝐂𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭! The Project A Knowledge Conference (short PAKCon) will be different this year. Instead of one single event in one place, we will split into 1️⃣ 0️⃣ content-specific hives throughout the day before all gathering at night for the convention and the legendary party. I'm thrilled to co-host the 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐯𝐞, where we'll take a strategic and generalist perspective, dive deep into what matters when building and scaling a venture, and bring the entire ecosystem together to explore the sweet spot between startups and incumbents. ➡ How do we create high-performance cultures and organizations? ➡ Is corporate venture building dead, or does it just smell funny? ➡ Is the idea of strategy actually still good? ➡ Is hardware eating software eating the world? ➡ Are venture client units a real silver bullet or just the next buzzword? ➡ And what does AI have to do with all this? Following my last post we found ourselves at a critical juncture. After almost a year-long journey of non-stop ideation and development, we realised that we had overwhelmed our team and resources to the point that we could not continue growing sustainably. This, along with a series of other realisations has taken us down a spiral of transformation, re-evaluation and redesign that is still continuing. Fortunately, that resulted in a number of important hires and structural changes that should position our team for long-term success. Most notably, we had Aziza Turakulova join SEDA and Diyora Alimova join #Villayat's operational team. As I write this, they are leading our teams through the storm, and attracting #newtalents to join our cause. These changes also prompted me to go back to our core principles and shift my focus to #communityengagement. So bare with me as I will be sharing the thoughts that make me tick - #investment into #sustainability, #creativity and #innovation.
