Navigating the complex terrain of SEO can be a daunting task, especially when distinguishing between ethical 'white hat' techniques and the manipulative 'black hat' methods. Jayne Schultheis delves into this topic, shedding light on the importance of adhering to search engine guidelines for long-term success. White hat SEO, as Schultheis explains, focuses on sustainable strategies like quality content creation, keyword optimization, and enhancing user experience. These practices not only align with search engine policies but also aim to provide genuine value to your audience. Conversely, black hat SEO employs unethical tactics to game the system. These include keyword stuffing, cloaking, and using link farms, which can lead to severe penalties, including de-indexing or bans from search results. The consequences of using black hat techniques can be dire, with noticeable drops in organic traffic and rankings. Schultheis advises a swift pivot to white hat methods if you've been penalized, emphasizing the importance of original, high-quality content and ethical SEO practices. 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎 refers to the type of search engine optimization which complies with quality guidelines of search engine operators and does not engage in spam methods. 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎 is ethical, legally not objectionable Search Engine Optimization which promotes positive rating by a search engine. 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:- 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎 includes the following techniques: 1:- Content with added value: “Content is King” applies to white hat SEO all the more. Only high-quality content, which offers added user value, will generate natural links that are voluntarily set by users. 2:- Keywords: A comprehensive keyword research as well as their use in texts, pictures, Metadata, etc., is more important than ever for 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎. Keyword Stuffing is not a part of these methods. 3:- Links: Unnatural link building is taboo in 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎. Instead, social media strategies are often followed to support natural link building. 4:- OnPage Optimization: On-Page optimization has a lot of potential, including meta data, the use of synonyms, the optimization of page navigation and search, meaningful URL structures, and link. 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐟 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎:- 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎 has several benefits for the operator: 1:- Cost: In the long run, 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎 is cheaper than 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎, as it is not necessary to repair violations that have been identified and penalized by Google. A typical example is the time-consuming, manual removal of spam links in blog comments or forums. 2:- Ethics: Entrepreneurs opt for white hat SEO to justify their positioning in the SERPs to their visitors just for ethics reasons. 3:- Security: Sites optimized with 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐎 are secure against Google Penalties. Accordingly, the Damocles sword of sales failures occasioned by a penalty is not constantly hang over the website. 4:- Consistency: The Rankings achieved are usually more stable and, in particular, long-term compared to pages optimized with unfair means, with the probability of penalties. #Whitehatseo #SEO #Guestpost #Guestposting #Viral #Trending #Linkedinposts

Google's March 2024 update is quickly getting rid of websites that don't meet its quality standards. It's focusing on sites that use AI to create spammy content, aiming to keep only the good, real stuff. Ian Nuttall, a prominent figure in the SEO community, has been tracking the indexing status of 49,345 websites following the launch of the March 2024 Core Update and its associated manual actions against AI-generated spam. The findings from Nuttall’s analysis align with a recent study conducted by Originality.ai, which investigated the prevalence of AI-generated content among the deindexed websites. The study found that 100% of the affected sites showed signs of AI-generated content, with 50% having 90-100% of their posts generated by AI. These findings indicate that Google's March 2024 Core Update is specifically designed to identify and penalize websites that primarily use AI to create content aimed at unfairly influencing their position in search results. The manual actions taken against these sites demonstrate Google’s commitment to combating the rise of AI-driven spam and low-quality content.

WIDESPREAD DEINDEXING ~ Google's March 2024 Core Update has taken a significant step in the fight against AI-generated spam. The update has deindexed hundreds of websites, prioritizing high-quality, human-generated content. Notable SEO figure Ian Nuttall has monitored the indexing status of 49,345 websites since the rollout of the update. His research revealed that 837 websites had been completely eliminated from Google's search index. All impacted sites exhibited indications of AI-generated content, with half of them having between 90% to 100% of their content generated by AI. These findings indicate that Google's March 2024 Core Update effectively addresses websites heavily reliant on AI-generated content to manipulate search rankings. Let's wait and see if any of the deindexed content resurfaces in search. Image Source: SEJ
