Happening this spring at RELLIS: researchers at the George H.W. Bush Combat Development Complex are installing and adjusting the first laser system inside the Ballistic, Aero-Optics, and Materials, or BAM, a hypersonic tunnel that will provide a unique facility to accelerate key integrated hypersonic technologies.

  • A green laser beam is tested inside the Ballistic, Aero-optic and Materials Range at the Texas A&M – RELLIS campus.
  • Technologist Kevin Brown installs and adjusts the first laser system to be used inside the Ballistic, Aero-optic and Materials Range on the Texas A&M – RELLIS campus.
