“In June 2024, a US Military Police Battalion was mobilized and deployed under CJTF-Jazira Yazi, in support of CENTCOM's Operation SHINING SWORD, a Multinational Coalition effort to destroy Houthi Rebels in Yemen and restore stability to commercial shipping in the region. The Battalion operated a US Army Theater Detention Facility designed to hold Houthi Rebel detainees but due to the unique situation of Jazira Yazi and their ongoing separatist movement, the facility ended up holding insurgents consisting of religious extremist groups, transnational criminal organizations, and private military contractors." This scenario occured at Praetorian Warrior 24 our Battalion's Field Training Exercise (FTX), and showcased how strategic decisions at the national level could impact tactical level missions. How was this unit supposed to deal with Houthi Rebels in a US facility on foreign soil? What about seperatists? PMCs? What laws govern this? What precautions do we need to take? UNRWA, a supposedly humanitarian organization, has once again been exposed as a facilitator and enabler of terrorist activities in Gaza. The discovery of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment belonging to Hamas within the UNRWA headquarters is a clear indication of the organization's complicity in supporting terrorism. By allowing Hamas to operate within its premises and using civilian neighborhoods as a cover for their terrorist activities, UNRWA has not only failed in its duty to protect innocent civilians but has actively put them in harm's way. It is despicable that an organization entrusted with providing aid and assistance to refugees is instead aiding and abetting terrorist organizations. UNRWA's blatant disregard for international law and its willingness to collaborate with terrorists is a disgrace. The organization must be held accountable for its actions and immediate action must be taken to ensure that it is no longer able to aid and abet terrorism in Gaza. The international community must condemn UNRWA for its role in perpetuating violence and instability in the region.
