Here are a few key insights I've gathered along the way: 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝: Always design systems with scalability and future growth in perspective. What works today might not suffice tomorrow. Try to imagine how will it be like to support, enhance the application. Don't forget to think about decommissioning. 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭: In an era where data breaches are rampant, designing with security as a foundation is non-negotiable. Feedback Loops are Gold: Continuous monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms are vital. They help in proactively identifying issues and refining the system. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐊𝐞𝐲: Systems design is a team sport. It requires cross-functional collaboration and input from diverse perspectives to truly innovate. I'm eager to hear from you—your experiences, challenges, and the lessons you've learned in the realm of systems design.
