Connecting engineering contractors with the best global opportunities in Automation, Controls, Maintenance, PLC & Reliability. 07465 744665 - andrew.trowbridge@weinnovatetalent.com
Back in the office today after an amazing few days of travel across Europe visiting clients. Teams and video calls are great and serve their purpose but you can’t beat being on site, seeing, learning about and discussing challenges that people and companies are facing. It allows us to have a much deeper understanding of the wider business and hence, offering a more comprehensive service to our clients. Recruitment is about partnerships and these last few days have reinforced that mindset hugely. Agreed common goals and taking action. On a personal level, I have two main takeaways. Firstly, I have been able to fully geek out seeing state of the art engineering facilities and practices which has been an amazing experience that I’m very grateful for. Secondly, this was the first time I’ve flown in over 20 years and I admit I was a bit apprehensive in doing multiple flights over 3 days but it’s been brilliant. Well out of my comfort zone but by doing things like this is how we grow. I’m certainly not going to miss working from airport departure lounges though! Very keen to speak with Engineers from multiple disciplines if you’re interested in working on projects in Europe including Maintenance Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Project Managers, Design Engineers, PLC Programmers and Automation Engineers. #contracting #europe #recruitment #manufacturing

Consultant - Coltech, expert in building Software Engineering, Data & Cloud Teams for organizations across Europe.
🔧 *Collaboration is Key!* 💼 As a recruiter specialising in the engineering field, I see firsthand how crucial collaboration is for mechanical design engineers working with other professionals, such as architects and electrical engineers. It ensures that designs are not only innovative but also practical and seamlessly integrated into the larger project framework. Connecting mechanical design engineers with architects allows for an understanding of the aesthetic and functional requirements, ensuring that mechanical systems complement the overall design. This alignment helps in creating spaces that are efficient. Are you finding your projects more streamlined when collaborating? Facilitating interactions between mechanical design engineers and electrical engineers means that designs are effectively powered and controlled. Their input is vital for creating reliable systems that meet regulatory standards and perform optimally. Have you noticed an increase in efficiency when your team includes electrical engineers? In my experience placing candidates in collaborative environments, these interactions help approach to problem-solving, resulting in higher quality outcomes and client satisfaction. Your feedback is invaluable - how has collaboration improved your work? #MechanicalDesign #CollaborativeEngineering #ArchitectureIntegration

Project Manager - CAPM Cert Candidate | DEI & Accessibility Specialist | Nonprofit Professional | Over 15,000 Volunteer Hours | CPACC & Section 508 Cert Candidate | Published Writer & Public Speaker
Here's a wonderful article by Craig Abbott about the job postings for accessibility specialists. "Picture this. A job advert for an electrician. The skills required for the job, as you'd expect, state that you need to be a fully qualified electrician. However, when you read on, they also expect you to be an expert in plastering, paving, plumbing, joinery, tree surgery, landscape architecture, and gas fitting. All for half the salary of a bricklayer. Absurd, right?" I see the breath of expectations for accessibility specialists and the low compensation as a reflection of how society and an organization values disabled, neurodivergent, and Deaf/deaf people. ... https://lnkd.in/gzb2RD3C #Accessibility #Career #JobHunting #CareerDevelopment #Recruitment #SoftwareDeveloper #WheelchairUser #Disabled #PayDisabledPeople

Since I am seeking #ElectricalDesigners and #ElectricalEngineers for a few of our sectors, I wanted to throw out some stats that might be appealing for those of you who either are or know electrical designers. If you are an electrical designer in the AEC industry looking for a change - check this post out. Most of this information is sourced directly from our electrical designer hires. I have had the honor of facilitating their journeys to employment in the last 5 months. Here is what I have heard: - We have the simplest, most transparent interviewing process. - No surprises throughout the process, including experience, level, and salary amounts - we talk about it all up front so you don't end up wasting your time, or ours. - Recent hires have commented on our speed from interview to offer. Seems like they're going through 3-5 levels of interviews with most competing firms. Factors that our candidates have been saying motivated them to apply for Henderson roles: - People first culture promise that actually delivers - Tenure of many of our long-term designers still here (and thriving) - Diversity of our work - Diversity of our workforce - More opportunities for growth - Evidence of our work as documented through social media and news outlets I say this every time - you expect a recruiter to say these things. There are several great storytellers in the world, but I am not that good. I am just telling you about what's actually happening here. Never seen anything like it. #HendersonProud
