I'm proud to share a sample of my recent work – an audio described trailer for #Shogun, airing on FX. This project has reinforced how crucial it is to make all media, especially trailers, accessible to everyone. A big thank you to Madeline Baugh of XTRACKS for making this possible! While the FCC has made great strides in making TV programs more accessible, trailers and commercials are often left out. Trailers are crucial—they spark excitement, provide a sneak peek into the storyline, and help viewers decide what to watch. Without features like audio descriptions, many people are excluded from this first glimpse into new content. Making trailers accessible doesn't just mean adding audio descriptions. It also means subtitles, sign language capability, and designing visual content with accessibility in mind. These steps can make a big difference, ensuring everyone can enjoy and engage with media equally. Every trailer can be accessible and inclusive. It's not just about meeting standards; it's about making entertainment better for everyone! #Accessibility #AudioDescription #InclusiveMedia #AccessibleTrailers #DiversityInMedia #inclusion #trailers #narration #accessibilitymatters
