CS roles are the #1 way to transition into a #startup here are 4x reasons why… 1️⃣ Voice of customer - Being on the frontline gives you intimate knowledge of the immediate customer pain points and the value your product brings to them 2️⃣ Introduction to sales - Chances are you will be working under a sales leader who has already grown revenue so therefore you are in a great learning opportunity 3️⃣ Product leadership - High customer exposure makes you an invaluable asset to any team that prioritises the voice of customer in new or existing product development. 4️⃣ Salary growth - If the companies growing fast and you can keep learning as fast as the company is growing you have endless opportunities for career progression and salary upside (and esop if available). Loving the sales side? Your next role could be in sales with a higher base and commission. Loving the product development side? Your next role could be in new #product development or product management. Great team and a great opportunity to level up into a leading #agtech startup that’s growing rapidly in Aotearoa and beyond 🐮🚀 Awesome to see you smashing milestones Liam, Tom & Caleb! #cs #productleadership #operations #leadership #hiring

I’m a natural helper. I’ve gone out of my way to help people with anything in my power to do so. So I decided to make a career of it. My journey into Customer Success kind of happened by accident. In the 2008 recession I found myself finishing a contract and once again out of work. Windsor Ontario, heavily reliant on the automotive industry, was hit especially hard and jobs were scarce. I ended up starting my first job as a technical support specialist in a call center. It was tough of course, but I was really good at it. A shocking discovery as an introverted artist. And I actually really enjoyed it when there wasn’t someone cursing at me because they had been on the phone for 2 hours before they even got to me. When I moved to the US, I decided to stay in that field. It paid well, it was in demand as software companies were springing up like dandelions, and I was good at it. I pivoted to B2B technical support and found myself often talking to the same people. I loved learning how they were using the product and ideating on how they could get more value out of it. I was doing Customer Success for a company that did not have Customer Success Managers. As I continued through my career I learned that Customer Success was definitely for me. I love working with the same accounts and helping them get the most value from our products. What drew you to Customer Success? How did you get there? #customersuccess #customersuccessmanager #saas# #careerjourney

You will never solve your hiring shortage for customer service roles at your company… ⁉️⁉️⁉️ without changing your outdated ads and training programs. You know what im talking about... this stuff: Generic Job Description Our Vision: To be omnipresent wherever risk arises—both in the present and the future. Safeguarding what holds the utmost importance. Our Mission: To shield and nurture the ambitions of individuals, families, and enterprises. To equip our employees with the tools to educate themselves, develop, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. If you have every document and license we need so we don't have to invest in you please apply... I get it; you are playing it safe and don't want to overlap into HR territory But you’re missing out! This is Insurelys current AD headline: Insurely Sales and Customer Success – The Best Freaking Job Spoiler alert 🚨the ad itself is equally as fun and doesn't have the typical large company Victorian era lingo. When we use this approach Insurely Inc. can take advantage of the resumes of amazing people whose experience start at Home depot, McDonalds or Starbucks where they have been through world-class onboarding. 💪 Our only job is to next inspire and guide the individual through our own world class training. The stats on this Ad for the last two weeks searching in a very small population area Impressions 6,937 Clicks 491 Applications 99 Do you think Bobby Flay opens restaurants everywhere because he is one of the best cooks in the world or does he just market himself better? What are your thoughts on this strategy? The Home Depot Starbucks McDonald's
