- The first computer program - The first compiler - The frequency-hopping technique - The space math calculations - The Apollo flight software - The YouTube platform Women have been behind many scientific and technological breakthroughs, from the early days of computing to the present day of online media. These women and many more have shown their talent, creativity, and leadership in STEM fields, while overcoming barriers and biases along the way. But we still have a lot of work to do to make the tech industry more diverse and inclusive for women. Did you know that only 27% of STEM workers in the US are women and Latinas even further underrepresented at 3%? We need more women in tech, not just to fill the skills gap, but also to bring different perspectives, experiences, and solutions to the problems we face. I'm proud to be a #latinaintech and work for a company that is committed to creating inclusive and equitable environments for women and increasing the visibility and representation of women in technology. Let’s celebrate the women who have paved the way and also encourage the next generation of women who will shape the future of technology and innovation. Happy International Women's Day! 💜

Even though Women's History Month has passed, it's important we take time to recognize and appreciate the work women have done and continue to do in the world of tech. Working in tech as a woman isn't always easy --- but don't just take my word for it: With data from Women in Tech Network, Accenture, and McKinsey, I sought to better understand the struggles women in STEM roles face today. I also spoke with Nandita Gupta, CPACC, Aqsa F., Natalie Onions, and Katie Mendrala to hear real women's journeys into tech and get some insights from them for aspiring female tech leaders! I am thrilled to participate in the 9th International Women in Science Day, celebrating the achievements of women who have made significant contributions to the world of science. This day serves as a catalyst for promoting diversity and inclusivity in science, emphasizing the importance of creating an environment where women are encouraged to pursue careers in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Currently, only 22% of women are in Artificial Intelligence, highlighting the need for increased representation. Today, I had the honor of presenting to a class in Palo Alto, sharing insights into my professional journey, why I entered the field of science, and how I established my business in the Bay Area. The discussion revolved a lot around AI technology, including questions about ChatGPT. Empowering the next generation of female scientists is crucial. Initiatives that provide role models and showcase diverse career paths aim to bridge the gender gap in science, and I am proud to contribute by bringing my piece to the puzzle. By sharing success stories, best practices, and challenges, the international community can collaborate to create a supportive and encouraging environment for women in science. If you have any questions about Women in Science and Entrepreneurship, feel free to reach out by sending a private message. Let's continue the conversation and work together towards a more inclusive future for women in STEM. #WomenInScience #STEM #DiversityInScience #EmpowerWomen #science #ai #innovation #technology #entrepreneurship GlobalReach BI

𝟯𝟯% 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀. Let's push forward! 💪 Last Friday, I had the pleasure of hosting a gathering for women in deep tech with Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI and Silicon Allee. We discussed a crucial topic: the participation of women in STEM and deeptech. Turns out, there is progress! 33% of women are graduating from strong STEM fields. But how do we push forward? We need to: - Create opportunities for these talented women. - Support their journey in entrepreneurship. - Build a supportive network. Our panel shared real strategies that work. From taking risks to having a strong support system, these women are paving the way. We also talked about changing the conversation. Instead of focusing on the challenges, we highlighted our abilities and commonalities to build the future. It was inspiring to hear stories from women with diverse backgrounds. Whether they studied mathematics, learned coding without a degree, or researched aerospace engineering, their journeys were remarkable. We also discussed how to involve more men as advocates. It's about getting more seats at the table and ensuring everyone has a voice. Here's a picture from the event. Let's stay engaged and continue to learn how we can make a difference. #WomenInTech #STEM #Entrepreneurship

"'Women make up only 26% of data and AI positions in the workforce.'" New technology, old problem. Too often women and girls are left out of the picture when it comes to STEM. We need to push ourselves and our society to change that, especially around technologies like AI, which is poised to disrupt, shift and uproot the ways we work and live. How can you serve as a role model or mentor for girls or young women interested in STEM? https://bit.ly/3vCuGzH

Happy Ada Lovelace Day! And what better way to celebrate this day AND Women in Tech Week than by listening to the future of this industry? What better way to dispel those myths around women in tech than by asking them about their experiences? ➡️ Who are their role models? ➡️ How are they encouraged to pursue STEM careers at school? ➡️ Are the boys introduced to women in tech careers too so they can learn about the need for diversity? ➡️ And how can we crush the tired trope that women don't work well together? I recorded this podcast with Chloe-Leila, Georgia and Emily prior to their journey to the VEX Robotics Championships in the US. This is the future of the industry. I'm sure Ada would be proud. #womenintechweek #adalovelaceday #womeninstem #stem #steam #steamm #futureoftech (Shelley Zalis and The Female Quotient - with your focus on women in tech, I thought you might like this too).
