In May Renco’s Armpower team in Armenia held a critical internal workshop “Understanding Discrimination and Violence: Exploring Gender Equality Issues in Armenia.” The workshop addressed topics of gender equality, overcoming stereotypes and preventing violence, and why private companies should promote maintaining gender equality in their workforce. It was an opportunity to raise awareness, challenge stereotypes, and foster critical discussions. Emphasising the role and participation of women in the company's work, Armpower CJSC CEO Paolo Paffumi reaffirmed Armpower's policy to exclude any forms of discrimination against women and girls and emphasised the creation of equal opportunities for women. Studies have consistently shown that increasing women's participation in the workforce and decision-making not only improves their well-being but also increases overall productivity. We are proud to see our team in Armenia making strides in championing gender equality education within its team.
