Theresa May certainly had her day and we have the scares to prove it; Track record have a tendency to stick so does the harm done to the nation that comes at the back of bad governance due to having leaders that simply landed (or crashed) at No. 10 without direct public selection/scrutiny and debate. Can elected leaders also screw up; of course they can but this is part-and-parcel of a democratic system, one that provides genuine checks/balances and the public should always be central in applying such protections. It's also important as mentioned in a previous post that democracy is allowed to evolve so it's able to develop and protect itself from "clever" people who seek to abuse it; one such evolution/protection is how leaders (and politicians generally) are swiftly unseated when national interest becomes at risk due to bad governance and/or corruption rather than let them serve remainder of their term due to politically motivated legal shackles which can (have been proven) to be quite a costly proposition (short, medium and long term). Just a thought! #uk #governance #democracy https://lnkd.in/eVXMh-a9

Very Important ****** House Republicans Rail Against The UN And World Health Organization As stated in the video They are producing an inter-governmentally negotiated, action-oriented Pact for the Future with chapters on Global governance. The United States has a constitution we are a Republic and no one should ever have any authority over us. This is a redistribution of wealth without Americans' authorization. They are on a march for power and we can't let our sovereignty be taken away. There is a global power grab ***Emergency *** This is happening this weekend and no one knows about it We were betrayed at the southern border and this could happen on a world stage. We had to force the COVID mandates to stop because of others' opinions and as some have seen some of them were wrong Vote for Trump Vance Forward-looking statements not guaranteed #Leadership #Sales #Money #Finance #Stocks #Immigration #Business #Entrepreneurship #Venturecapital #Inflation #Economy #Christians #Jewish

A Suicidal Coalition which is unnecessary I agree with the assertion made by the author here but for reasons different to what he outlines It would be suicidal for the ANC to go to bed with the DA with objectives contrary to the revolutionary party. These two parties have nothing in common and share nothing regarding how the country must move forward. If a coalition with MK and EFF does not work out it would even be necessary to rerun the elections. How does a party that seeks to separate the Western Cape from S Africa, a racist party that bought votes represent the interest of the majority which are jobs, jobs jobs? A coalition with this party which is a modified version of the Afrikaner Resistance Party would be a sell-out out and any justification by the neo-cons will not save the country well. The ruling party (ANC) must start making bold decisions to change the country's trajectory to empower the majority of the black populace. Land Reform must be on the forefront and good management and accountability must become a mantra of the coalition government. This election was a warning to the ANC that if nothing changes they will become history.

"Your support and dedication were vital in stalling the proposed Pandemic Treaty at the World Health Assembly last May. But we knew the United Nations globalists wouldn’t leave it at that. The Amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR) were rammed through on the last day of the Assembly, at the very last minute. This document claims the World Health Organization (WHO) can declare pandemic emergencies and enforce restrictive measures during crises, such as mandatory vaccines, travel bans, information control, and more surveillance on you and your family—practically everything they wanted from the Pandemic Treaty sliding through under the cover of darkness. With less than 10 months to opt out of the International Health Regulations (IHR) before they become legally binding, the UK now has a crucial decision to make! If not, the WHO will begin enforcing it and gain unprecedented power over your daily life. And I am afraid our bureaucrats and politicians may give in without a fight... unless you act. We have work to do, again! And we need your help. CitizenGO is launching a direct campaign demanding countries withdraw from the IHR and publicly declare their refusal to be bound by these measures. All it takes is a letter from Sir Keir Starmer to the WHO stating that the recently proposed amendments do not apply. Will you help me pressure the Labour government to reject these oppressive regulations and protect your freedoms? The WHO will otherwise assume that the UK accepts these amendments. It’s up to YOU to ensure the WHO can't intrude on your freedoms. Your signature can make a real and powerful difference! Thankfully, some countries have already expressed objections - Slovakia, Switzerland, Argentina, and the Holy See are among others who have shown dissent or scepticism about the IHR amendments. Time is running out! We have until April 2025 to reject these changes by sending an official letter to the WHO. Sign here and act NOW to protect your freedoms.

I'll be in the #ukparliament tomorrow talking about how to raise standards with an amazing panel of speakers led by the brilliant Debbie Abrahams MP, Co-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Compassionate Politics, and including Dr Hannah White OBE from the Institute for Government and Calum Green of Involve. The public session follows the second reading of Debbie Abraham's Elected Representative's (Code of Conduct) Bill. The bill would: i. Establish an independent body to oversee ethics in parliament ii. Put the rules regarding the behaviour of MPs and Ministers on a proper, statutory footing. iii. Create a new set of enforceable standards for local councillors iv. Establish a new fully independent Commissioner for Ministerial Standards. We're grateful to Debbie for her incredible leadership on this issue. At Compassion in Politics we think that independence and enforceability are two crucial factors in helping to reduce toxicity and restore public faith in democracy. As we approach the next election we're co-ordinating a coalition of organisations together with The Democracy Network, Unlock Democracy, Quakers in Britain, The Jo Cox Foundation, Fawcett Society, Centenary Action, 50:50 Parliament and many others who will be calling on all political parties to adopt the measures in this bill so that we can start to #cleanuppolitics. The panel is open to the public and we want to hear your views so please join us if you can by using the link below. You can also sign up on our website (https://lnkd.in/euysMCqE) to follow and support the campaign. #democracy #ethics #ethicalleadership #standards #politics #speaker House of Commons Committee on Standards in Public Life Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust Leo von Bülow-Quirk Ben Williams
