In three years, every product and service your business / company makes will be obsolete. The only question is whether you will make them Obsolete or somebody else will beat you to it? ESTHER AYOADE. Do you recall our last discussion on Nokia's decline in the market? If you haven't seen my post on NOKIA decline, please click the link below https://ln.run/k62HK This is a stark reminder that in just three short years, every product or device your business creates could be obsolete. The critical question remains: "Will you be the one to render them outdated, or will someone else seize that opportunity?" In the face of such rapid change, staying ahead of the curve is not just an option; it's imperative. Here's a continuation of our conversation, focusing on strategies to keep your business at the forefront of your industry: 1. Cultivate a Culture of Innovation: Encourage an environment where innovation thrives and continuous improvement is ingrained in your company's DNA. Foster creativity and empower your team to explore new ideas. 2. Stay Customer-Centric: Keep a pulse on your customers' evolving needs and desires. Actively solicit feedback, engage in meaningful conversations, and tailor your products and services to meet their expectations. 3. Forge Strategic Collaborations: Partner with other organizations, both within and outside your industry, to unlock new opportunities and synergies. Collaboration can lead to innovation and expansion into new markets. 4. Embrace Technology: Leverage technology to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver exceptional experiences to your customers. Embracing digital transformation is no longer a choice but a necessity for survival in today's competitive landscape. 5. Anticipate Industry Trends: Stay informed about emerging trends and disruptions in your industry. Be proactive in adapting your strategies and business model to stay ahead of the curve and maintain relevance. This serves as a wake-up call for all businesses and companies. The pace of change is relentless, and the stakes are high. Again, within three years, your products or services could become outdated. The question is whether you'll take the lead in making them obsolete or risk being overtaken by competitors. Remember, the future belongs to those who are willing to embrace change and innovate relentlessly. ESTHER AYOADE. #estherayoade #nokia #businessgrowth #businessgrowthstrategy #growthstrategy.

Our sixth annual Best Workplaces for Innovators list recognizes more than 150 companies that understand vitally important breakthroughs can occur on the loading dock, not just in a corner office. Likewise, no single country has a monopoly on innovation: Four of the top 10 companies on this year's list are based outside of the U.S., including PC manufacturer Lenovo (No. 1, with dual HQs in Beijing and North Carolina). The top 10 also includes American Red Cross; AtriCure, Inc.; and Alphabet Inc.'s experimental division X, the moonshot factory. And good news—we've also noted which of these inspiring companies are hiring. Read more about the innovative cultures of our Best Workplaces for Innovators: https://bit.ly/4d1DUWz #FCBestWorkplaces

🌍 📈 Have you ever wondered how global corporations achieve success even when their teams are distributed across the globe? Spoiler: Global Virtual Teams play a crucial role Part I 💻 🎧 Global Virtual Teams (#GVTs) are collaborative groups comprising individuals from various geographic locations, interconnected through technology. In the contemporary, interconnected business landscape - particularly within the #automotive #EMobility - GVTs are essential for mirroring a global customer base and leveraging the presence of one's corporate entities worldwide. The strategic need for Global Virtual Teams (GVTs) Harnessing Diverse Expertise GVTs are the melting pot of global talent, bringing together a rich variety of skills and knowledge. This diversity is the catalyst for innovative and creative problem-solving, essential in today’s complex business environment. Achieving Cost Efficiency They cut organizational expenses by reducing travel and leveraging global expertise, which may not be locally available. This is particularly crucial in the automotive industry, where a balanced mix of High-Cost Country (HCC) and Best-Cost Country (BCC) share is vital for cost-efficient development and production to bring the products alive. Leveraging Flexibility for Productivity GVTs provide adaptable communication methods and the capacity to operate across various time zones, thereby enhancing productivity. This can be a really efficient measure to speed up development and improve overall efficiency by leveraging different time zones. During my stay in Japan as an Expat (GMT +9) it was possible to have F2F meetings with the #OEM in the morning, discuss the results with the German colleagues in the afternoon and providing validated feedback to the customer the day after. Expanding Global Reach They empower organizations to function internationally, accessing into new markets and global talent pools. For example, within the Automotive industry Software is playing a crucial role, but local markets for SW engineers in Europe are quite limited. Hence using GVT's the program and development team can be fueled by SW experts from India or other regions globally were the availability of resources and required know-how is given. Fostering Cultural Exchange GVTs promotes cultural interaction and comprehension, contributing to personal development and heightened global consciousness. In my pov this is really important if a company for example is headquartered in Germany and wants to reach out to a global customer base. First, management and employees from the HQ need to understand the culture which they want to make business with, also here GVT's are going to sensibilize all of the involved stakeholders - including the customer. Cultural understanding is not often ranked as a TOP item, however if a German Tier 1 is really serious to make business with for example Japanese OEMs (#JOEM) - cultural understanding is key.

I help global leaders find success, faster | CranberryLeadership.com | Author | Keynote Speaker | Coach | Mastermind Leader | The Expat Whisperer
🌏 Japan C-Suite Perspective: A Rapidly Evolving Business Culture 🌎 Recently had an excellent deep-dive discussion with a C-Suite executive from a large multinational corporation based in Japan. ➡ We explored the rapid and pronounced transformations in the post-COVID business landscape. ➡ He confirmed the comments of other execs around the unprecedented, rapid acceleration of remote work. This is formerly almost-taboo subject in Japan, unraveling not only its immediate impact but also its ripple effects on employee loyalty and organizational structures. ➡ What also caught my attention was the intricate dance between newfound flexibility and traditional stability in the minds of employees...especially younger ones. ➡ A paradigm shift is clearly underway, with the younger workforce seeking diverse work experiences and embracing a less linear career trajectories. 📖 Quote of the day: "The days of Japan's reliance of cradle-to-grave employment at one company are over." 🗾 These evolving dynamics are poised to reshape the very fabric of Japan's corporate culture. Cranberry's forthcoming interviews will delve into these intricacies, offering an understanding of how Japan's business landscape is evolving in response to the global shifts brought about by the pandemic...from multiple C-Suite perspectives. 📺 Stay tuned... #japan #postcovid #expatleaders #cranberry
