Today is one of the biggest days in our renewable industry year because it's the publication of the AR6 results, the annual allocation of Contracts for Difference, which is the big instrument that the Government uses to procure large quantities of renewable energy. And we've seen success across all of the different parts of the renewables market, about 1,000 megawatts of new onshore wind, which is really good news. We've even seen some new projects go ahead in Wales, a small one in England, as well as the majority of those being in Scotland. In Offshore, we've seen two new large projects go ahead, Hornsea Four which is a big project owned by Orsted and the East Anglia 2 project owned by Scottish Power Renewables. These are really big projects which are going to deliver huge amounts of investment to the UK, well over ��10 billion of investment, many, many thousands of jobs being created, lots of UK content and supply chain opportunities will fall out of that, and of one of the big headlines is the largest floating offshore wind project. ever to be built in the world, which is a 400 MW project in Scotland called Green Volt. We're going to see that go ahead as a result of this Contracts for Difference round. So big, big impact, big boost for the UK economy. Would we like to see more? Yes, we would. But I think in truth, this is a really important day to see the UK back in business in offshore wind. And that means that we've got a place to build from, to do even more in the future with a Government with an incredibly high ambition. So we'd like to see further development of the Contracts for Difference regime. Really start to see big quantities every year, predictable volumes through the CfD auction that will make a big difference going forward and help the Government achieve its clean energy mission.
