Does your job ad mention remote? Even if it's hybrid, with a bit of remote work, be sure to list the word remote as many candidates add this to their job search. #happyhiring #exceptionaltalent #rentarecruiter #makingplacements #talentteam #talentfinder #futureofrecruiting #recruiter #recruiters #rentarecruiter #talentsubscriptions #candidatejourneyb #candidateexperience

🚨 Let’s talk about job posts! 🚨 If a role is hybrid 🏢💻, please don’t advertise it as remote 🌍 in the headline. It creates confusion and frustration for candidates looking for genuinely remote opportunities. A hybrid job, by definition, requires a mix of in-office and remote work, which is not the same as fully remote. Misleading headlines not only waste a candidate’s time ⏳ but also impact your brand's credibility in the long run. ✔️ Honesty in job postings goes a long way—let’s be clear from the start! #Recruitment #Hiring #RemoteWork #HybridWork #TalentAcquisition

So it happens again. Applied for a fully remote listing only to be told it's actually a four-day hybrid. Transparency matters, especially in job postings. Let's strive for honesty to save everyone time and effort. SMH. This is not recruiter bashing as after being in HR over 24 years, I have many friends who are recruiters and they are great at their jobs and wonderful people who truly try to get people employed. This one actually complained about the 1600+ applicants they had. Well, when you promote a job of $100k+ fully remote, that what you are going to get. If you had put that they had to live in one of the most expensive areas in the North East and work on site, maybe there would have been a few less applicants. #TransparencyMatters #JobSearchInsights

Job seekers deserve clear communication from companies posting job openings. Remote and hybrid roles are not interchangeable. It's frustrating to apply for a remote position only to discover it's actually hybrid and may require relocation. Let's save everyone's time by being transparent from the start. #JobSearch #RemoteWork #HybridRoles #RecruitmentAdvice

Have you ever had that experience where you’re excited about a job opportunity, only to find out it’s been changed to in-person just when you thought it was a done deal? 🤔 I recently had a conversation about this with some friends, and it seems like it’s happening more and more these days. Just in the last couple of months, I’ve had half a dozen staffing agencies contact me about remote positions. But then, out of nowhere, they're saying, "Oh, actually the company has decided they want in-person candidates instead." I mean, really? Let’s break this down: Consistency Issues: It’s baffling that a company can shift its stance so quickly. One minute, they’re open to remote work; the next, they're switching gears. 😩 Information Misuse: I can’t help but think this might be a tactic to collect our info - are these roles even real, or is it just a way to build a talent pool? Lack of Communication: The recruiters don’t e... Are Staffing Agencies Misleading Job Seekers on Remote Roles? Answers: https://lnkd.in/ghrHwTgP
